Amp not drawing power like it should?
fritosaregood replied to Stee-Z's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
sounds like you turned a setting down and forgot about it. or if you have 2 subs wired in parallel you might have blown one when the batt fried. -
Ive got a 2500 if your interested
-
Which parts on the sub broke?
-
Anyone that has blown a Fi sub, what was the failure point? I had 2 Bl 10s that both failed the same way, and I'm curious to hear if its the common failure point. But lets not turn this into and its my fault it blew or a bash thread please. (but.. the final one was halfway my fault )

I believe its called a daisy chain? idk but shouldnt be too hard, but i only have one saz3000 so not really sure how to do it. wow, what a pointless reply.. its called strapping, not daisy chain. but what youll do is run your rca signal to the master, then run the signal from that amp using the BR OUT rca jack and connect it the the BR IN on the slave. then connect the negative speaker terminals on the master to the negative speaker terminals on the slave. the positive speaker connections on the master are the new positive speaker terminals and the positive speaker terminals on the slave are the new negative speaker terminals. I would strap then to simplify tuning.

any interest in an addictive audio 500.1? it does 5k. Im interested in that saz3500 for a trade.

ive tested some in my car, its louder in the trunk, its to that hard to fit a 15 in the trunk either

get a 9 volt battery, 2 long pieces of wire, a clamp meter, and a volt meter. connect one wire to the neg of the coil and the neg of the battery, connect the positive to the pos of the coil and pos of the battery, set the clamp meter to dc current, and the volt meter to dc volts. get the current off the clamp meter, we'll call it "I" and the volts from the volt meter, we'll call it "V". now divide V by I and youll get R or your resistance of the coils or a quicker way would be get a dmm and set it to measure ohm and itll pop right up on the screen, and there is no "typical" box rise

if its a ram single cab you should have even more room then that, i would keep it between 2.5 and 3 cubes for them, and also i would do port up in the center, with subs up on each side. -
12in Countersunk Subwoofer ring
fritosaregood replied to BiggsVI's topic in Fabrication, Fiberglass, Etc
cut 2 rings to 13" diameters, cut one with a 10.95" hole and the other with a 12.03" hole (bigger if you want it to come out easier), then glue the pieces together. -
