  1. alright so here are the specs i have so far 43w x 19.5h x 18d and with port and sub and bracing displacement im figuring around 1 cube with all displacement still gotta work out tuning and such but its a rough estimate so far may go just a bit bigger on the box. this is putting the box around 6 cubes with all displacement which is what i originally planned on running, and yes this will be a daily setup anyone know how to calculate round port lengths and tuning looking for around 34-36hz tuning wise
  2. itll be seein around 2600 rms, and that 7-7.5 cubes before all displacements so u figure the standard 18 is around .26-.30 cubes displacement and then port displacement, and then all bracing displacement. so most likely around 6.5-7 cubes max Edit: and i can always cut the box size after i build also its as simple as a circular saw and some straight lines ya know. I would rather start off to big and be able to cut it down than to small and have to totally rebuild as i dont have that kinda money.
  3. would two 6 inch aero ports suffice for enough port area for a single lvl 5 18 in about 7.5 cubes before displacements?

  9. x2 Ur best bet is gonna be a wall in the civic, although it gonna look funny with just 2 12's in it, Thats the only way i see you producing 150's on music with 2 12's in either vehicle, although its not impossible to do it out of the trunk, Burps are a different story though, well that and an ass load of power, The wagon has to much cabin area and is gonna peak substantialy lower than the civic, My guess high 40's to low 50hz range in the civic and prolly high 30's in the wagon, A buddy of mine has a wagon with 16 cvr 12's sealed up in his wagon and it loves the lows although it plays pretty flat across all frequencies (sp?) My vote goes for wall and gobs of power in the civic
  10. haha priceless and yea i know it shouldnt be on all the time, im just wondering if its something internally screwed on these things or the fact that when i replaced the original the fan had already gone through my radiator and bent the hell out of the blades which is causing it to stay on all the time, Cuz my truck never gets over 160 because its always on, But it never sees better than 12mpg either. Its just killing me on the gas end but i love my durango and would hate to get rid of it but if i cant get a little better gas mileage
  11. 2000 Durango 5.9L have replaced the fucking clutch twice now and it still remains on at all fucking times, its rather annoying Because all i hear is the fucking WOOSH of the damn fan spinning out of fucking control, Any way to fix this or any suggestions on a couple of good electric fans to use, I thinking two flex-lites on a switch, But would rather just fix the damn clutch fan and call it a day, Is there something im missing with this, Cuz both times i have removed the water pump and taken the clutch and fan off like that. How does this thing know when to turn on and off is it fused, is it electrical at all, I have no clue and am thoroughly annoyed with it. Any input would be great.

Ok i Got to thinking about this and Im pretty sure i figured out what i did wrong, I have 8 ohm Mids and i unhooked everything at one point and start hooking it back up and didnt parralel my mids when i went to hook them back up and then the amp went into protect, could it be that i let the amp see too high of an Impendance and it caused this cuz it did shoot sparks at me when i hooked it up, Could that be the problem, And if so, How difficult of a fix is it? Im pretty good with a soldering iron.

Well My lawyer has informed, That it does not state anywhere in my Original Policy Agreement, That it was to be installed at a cerified shop so he is writing a letter to the insurance commisioner on my behalf, And if that falls through i guess ill dig a little deeper and try to fill my pockets with some of thier moneys. And just a little info, They have had reciepts from the day that i had ordered stuff and even had pictures of the install since it was finished. My 6 month premium had jumped almost $200, But i was goin to be pro-rated for the previous six month installment and begin full payment on it next month. Been about 3 months to the date since i had ordered everything and last sunday was a month from the theft.

I sent an entire copy of the policy and its terms today to my lawyer and he is over looking it, but i looked that thing front and back inside and out and never saw it say it had to be installed at a certified shop anywhere, and i they had a list of all that was in the truck since that day it all got installed and never heard about the certified shop deal untill today so ill hope for the best and if it doesnt say it in my policy, im sueing the shit out of them. just pisses me off bcuz now i have been robbed twice, once of all my shit, and now of all my money
  15. yea they told me bcuz it wasnt installed at a certified shop that it wasnt covered, i just laughed. progressive is absolute shit.
  16. is a fucking rip off, I pay all this god damn money to them and get my shit stolen once and even have the coverage for aftermarket in my truck and still they tell me im only getting the 1000 dollars standard to put it back to stock, Fuck that, thats fucking bullshit, Progressive insurance is a fucking rip off they have lost my business and all of my familys as of today, I provide them with pictures and reciepts and it takes them almost a month to figure out that they are gonna rip me the fuck off, fuck that, so anyone with progressive insurance, i wish you luck bcuz they fucking fail at covering shit, They can take thier insurance and shove it up thier lazy fucking asses. And to my agent you lazy non-calling back mother fucker i ever meet u in person im shoving my size 13E up ur stupid ass.
  17. in the right enclosure, yes, im getting ready to order a lvl4 xl and plan on feeding it upwards of 2500rms daily
