    Yeah just take your time on it all and you could pull it off. Wiring harness is simple as hell! Could take a bit for the steering wheel controls.

    Sounds like the amp could be wired wrong, bad ground or clipping like said.

    Honestly, if you turned everything flat and the smell is still there it's up in the air what it could be. Sub being warm could mean it's getting clipped or it's getting over powered.

    You shouldn't need that gain that far up.. Your HU is 4v pre-out... Was doing some reading and at flat settings you should be able to do 44/62

    Could very much have done it in there. Set your subsonic next time to around 3-4hz below box tuning.

    I had a issue with a "rumble" and thumping when I switched songs and when I played a CD it was a nasty sound when it seeked. I grounded my RCA's to the HU it self and it fixed it.

    So the amp is putting out and the sub isn't moving? Sounds like it's blown. Check the coils without the amp hooked up.

    Leave that bass boost off on both the amp and HU, unless you have a scope do not even attempt to use it. Check the amp output to the sub(s) and also check the voltage to the amp with the car on.

    You using any bass boost? are you sure the amp is even putting out anything? and what's the voltage looking like at the amp.

    How do you even know you are getting"2000w" did you clamp it? and did you set the gain with a oscope?

    Subs blow when you don't gain stuff correctly. Or if you overpower.
