    Well do the normal and reinstall your video card drivers from NVIDIA's site. I had this issue with another PC of mine but it didn't have a video card but the fans would spin up to 100% and stay there and have trouble booting. Turns out it was the motherboard..... If you can swap cards or plug into your motherboards VGA if it has one.

    Tapping could be that the cone has separated from the spider or something. Could be a number of things, the box is just crap or a pre-fab or your playing wayyy too low for the sub to handle.

    He means "put the power and ground to the battery since its in the trunk". And cars do not have frames and the best place to ground would be the battery.

    I forgot to note my check engine light went on and off. Something is up somewhere. Oh and Bigballa39213 helped fix my issues

    Hmm, is the check engine light on at all? When my PCV had a leak it threw a code and now it's not on since I fixed it.

    SA-12 is probably dual 4 and you wired it to 8 ohms.

    Well a vac leak DID cause my issues which possibly could cause yours and it doesn't hurt to check. Have someone start the car up while you have your head near the motor and see if you hear any sucking sounds and then have the person shut off the car and see if you hear it.

    My PCV vac leak caused my car not to slow down, it was like auto cruise control, it gained speed when going down hills.

    IACV or TPS. Also my car had high idle and the problem I had was the PCV and a grommet went missing on the PCV line that went into the top of the intake. I also replaced my IACV.

    ha! ya i used a hammer and a vice in the beginning. then one day i noticed the only thing holding my power wire was some electrical tape... so fuck that idea lol. plus, it's fun to get out the torch and solder. at least i think it is. as long as you dont touch it too soon lol lol ya. its not a mistake you make twice. I burnt my fingers a bunch when I soldered mine lol.

    Well first you can't mix and match memory. Second of all you would need to get 2x2gb sticks to have 4gb since that motherboard only has 2 DIMM slots. And with overclocking you take your time you don't just max out things and start doing this and that, it took me over 8 hours for my first overclock.

    That combo kit would be a nice little step up from that laptop.

    It's not always the processor that has a hard time,most of the time its the motherboard. But both of them can have a hard time doing overclocking and since the OP really doesn't know too much I wouldn't say to overclock.
