    I'll have to disagree on that, the friend that bought from ibuypower had a EVGA 780i,x29800GTX,Thermaltake 850w,500gb hitachi and thermaltake case. He could have saved $300 dollars buying each one of those instead of buying it from a site. He bought it 2 years ago when all of this stuff first got released.

    I wouldn't get a pre-built from any site. You should build your own and I'm pretty sure you can build a nice little gaming Pc for that amount. You also save money by doing it yourself. my friend got a pre-built gaming PC from ibuypower and lets just say hes building his own from now on. They "forgot" to hook up his DVD drive,forgot to plug in his front USB ports and a few other things. It was $1,800.

    I tried looking for the terminal pinout online but I can't seem to find it... Will keep trying. Lets hope he didn't cross the wrong pins. Stupid question but did the service engine light go off?

    I Don't think that would be a good idea since it's a very closed space and the amp needs room to breathe.

    Found that and all I can think of is to check ALL the fuses to make sure. What kind of car is it?

    Jumping the 2 pins on the diagnostic terminal is only for in my knowledge cars that are older and you can't use a diagnostic tool. I never heard of doing that to clear the check engine code.

    Just scratching off the paint won't be enough you really gotta sand it down really freaking good. It does sound like a bad ground. Also running power wire by RCA's really isn't that good of a idea.

    Check your ground and check your RCAs and see if they are pinched or anything like that. Also make sure your gains aren't maxed.

    thats what i was thinking too but would it happen so quickly ? its like it was running great then suddenly like poo... same with the catalytic converter ? If the cat is clogged it will run like complete crap. If the plugs and wires haven't been changed also it can run like crap.

    Could be the cat, you could also change the spark plugs and wires if you haven't.
