How Long...?

Uhhh.... I don't think he has those "keys" to take the head-unit out... The strips of metal you slide in on each side of it and pull it out... Could I just use a butter knife on each side and pull out the head-unit?? -
Where Can I Get Kinetik Hc600
EricM9104 replied to 07sOnAtA sp.ed's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Right here.... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7324_Kinetik+HC+600.html Dunno about helping to power a ZX2500.1. Would go for a 2nd battery though, almost twice the amps than the HC-600?? -

Yeah.... Got RCAs in by "feel". Thank god it's a cheaper head-unit with 1 pre-amp out. *i hope* Tomorrow we'll probably be forced to get it out to hook up the remote wire... -

Heh.... Rampage 500w PEAK amp... 2 MTX 10s, 10ga wire.... Got RCAs in (barely). Couldn't figure out how to pop the head-unit out.. Alls that's left to do is, wire the remote turn-on wire, run power wire, get some 10ga butt connectors (fuse block is weird) cause i can't figure out how to get one end disconnected. It's looped together..... Would have gotten more done tonight but don't have a shop and ran out of light.... -

Heh... I would love to install it today, but he has to hide it from his mom... lol. I also have a feeling he's studying (rare thing IMO) for finals this week.... We've got a good 2 hours or so of available working time if we start 7 wednesday morning... (school doesn't start till 9:30, we live 5 minutes away from the school) -

I think sometime today or tomorrow also, I will try to get together with him to see what he got and figure out where to put the wires and junk.... One thing I'm not gonna be loving is RCA's to head-unit. How easy would it be to get an 89 F-150 truck or something around there apart or pull the head-unit out?? God, I feel sooo "n00bish" now... lol. Well, off to read some tutorials. -

Need A Job

Sorry for thread hi-jack. How old do you have to be to work at BestBuy? If I'm old enough (16) I was hoping I'd be able to work in the computer section or car audio, or worse.... Geek Sqaud... -
Yeah. Should be able to. ASUS Memory QVL says the 2GB model of that RAM is compatible, so I reckon the 1GB model should work.
-
Actually, two of those cards, the two will both run at x16 speed.
-
Single PCIe x16 will run at 16x speed, SLI mode enabled and the two cards will run x8 bandwidth on both.

My Finger Vs. Router Bit

Gotta love those little accidents... My sister stabbed herself in the hand by accident while putting together a little model engine that spins or some crap.... than my old babysitters boyfriend was nailing some stuff together, nail went through wood and it went in his finger. Hospital didn't do anything to really help him, he's waiting in the waiting room and he rips it out. They wrap it up and he goes home. -
They'd work but you'd have to loosen the timings on your current 512mb sticks to 3-3-3-8 or tighten the timings on the new ram to 2-3-3-6. As long as the timings and such match up, you'll be fine.
