    that prefab box is your problem and the installer didnt tune the box lol. where do you live? maybe some one local here can build you a box. boxes are pretty easy to build with some basic tools. just have some one here design it for you.

    could be a wiring issue. thats pretty fucked up that you cant return anything. where did you get it from? JL and RF are both expensive brands. and you dont really get what you pay for with them.

    ya, itll leave residue. ive heard the idea to put a bunch of plastic over the panels 1st. maybe a bunch of press and seal would work well? lol. you cant put it in bags though, the foam needs air to cure. you want a lot of pressure on the headliner so it wont flap around so much.

    walls are fun. just be sure you are ok with using a bunch of expanding foam on your car to seal the wall.

    if the port is 4" wide/diameter you want at least 4" from port to the back of the box. same goes for the front on the port to the hatch or any other object.

    what brand? a lot of those ebay alts are garbage and often do less amps at idle than stock alts.

    a non-reactive load would be a resistor. 2ohm or 4ohm in this case. yes a tone would be like a "test" tone. its one frequency. music, however, is dynamic.

    thats using one tone on a non-reactive load. not a subwoofer, not on music. you will never get anywhere close to that number in the real world.

    finish the big 3, replace the stock battery with a kinetik 1800 (or whatever fits) and add a 2400. should be good. the 600 wont do much.

    tell us where you live. maybe some one is close by and can make you a box. its always better for the builder to be able to take measurements. If you want to pay for it, I can make you a box.     does that matter??? the point is that he could never do it that fast with that little wire wheel. use the right tools to do the job and we are telling you what the right tool is. plus, those wire wheels throw wires all over the place.
