The only reason I wouldnt be able to go would be getting there. My truck doesnt do really long trips. freaking 18's killed my gas mileage. not to mention my paint would probably get destroyed on the way there. im not crying, just stating that some other members might have the same problem. however, the idea is killer. All the car guys where I live used to meet in a furniture store parking lot next to a taco bell & we would hang out until whenever. then a lot of youg kids (Im young but I wasnt involved) started streetracing on the main road, they were burning out, setting off illegal fireworks, drinking which led to fights & a lot of other stuff which brought the cops weekly until it got run out. I think all of us SMD members have way more common sense & that if the turn out was enough the show would be awesome!

they are d4's they can handle 1200 watts peak & the amp isnt mine. its my girls, if the other things your talking about are electrical things it can handle it. Its an 03 durango with the hemi =bigger alt from factory the only other thing I can think you might be talking about are the subs taking the power.

Yeah, its about 13.7 & correct me if im wrong but box rise is when your box flexes right? I didnt bother with the dmm on this one. It does have the clip light bc for a long time we thought the amp was overheating bc it would play for a long time & then it would cut out. turns out the whole time it played you could see the light com on & slowly it got brighter & brighter til the amp shut off. Its time to get a SAZ-3000D.

oh, i see what your saying. so what the hell? that means the 15's I have that amp on are seeing 375 each? IF its @ 14.4 volts w/ a 6 volt signal. so its probably high 200's?

are you sure? these are the specs online. & what it says on the box. its in my garage so I went & checked before I made my reply. Peak (Dynamic) Power Rating: 4 ohms: 375 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 750 watts x 1 chan. 1 ohms: 1500 watts x 1 chan. Max power output: 1500 watts x 1 chan.

My girlfriend has that amp in her durango. its running 2 15" RE se subs very nicely. they need more power but for now its fine. i think its 750rms x1 @ 2 ohms. you need to run it at 1 ohm if you can.

It got pretty loud but there wernt many systems at m school. my brother is a junior & he starts driving in about 2 weeks and he says there are a few kids saying their audio systems are the shit so last week I decided to pick him up & i waited calmly until there was a small crowd of punks around my truck checking it out & I let the subs bang on bassaddict32's slowed version of "da blow" those kids were trippin when they saw the windshield flex.

Your right, no blow through for me, just coukdnt bring myself to cut it. So my 12's are ina 3.90 cube box. I have had other people tell me about the wave not being able to mature so it think I might be building a smaller box to give me more leg room but to also up my deebee's unfortunately I really like the way it sounds when it hits that really low freq. I have a comp in 2 weeks, its the VA state finals so im gonna meter it there & see what ido in SPL and drive by as well before I change the box.

I drive a 1994 standard cab S-10. I got lucky & my box peaks at 38 hz so it really fools people. they think im ported when they hear the bass & see the windshield flexing.

Your doind this for SQ? sounds more like SPL. I have 4 sealed soundstream 12's in an S-10 & it only did a 140.3 iv done some more work and got it a little louder but i dont know about doing it with 3 type r's

Okay, you didnt include a model or anything but after some looking i wasnt able to find any eff. ratings. imo its lanzar, and efficiency wont be the best. are the output ratings a typo? it might be 1x2000 @ 1 ohm & 1000 @1.3. Lol it has SMD technology & by bridging it with another do you mean strapping 2 amps?
