  1. Thank you all for the in put. but after some playing with sketchup for a bit, i wouldn't have enough room for the 15's giving them each 4cft. and box tuned to 33hz so will have to go with the 4 10's oh well should sit hit hard
  2. 2003 jeep liberty limited, with out folding the rear seat i should have just enough room for etheir set up. just trying to get some idea's on what set up i want to go with when i redo my system and give the old setup to my girl
  3. the 4 10's would be 1000rms each, and the 15's 1400rms each. i should have the room for etheir set up in max spec ported box and the amp is not in question just say each sub would be getting their rms matched. what would you guys go with?
  4. ray is speaking the truth, i have suv with to 10's small speaker "should be nice and tight" well ya they aren't i hit the lows damn nice but once i get to about 70hz notes you can notice it starts to lose its punch. if your running a ported box i would say might wanna think about a sealed box i know that made i big difference on the highs more info about the car/truck, box set up, subs and amp would help get some better info as to what it might be and how to help it
  5. www.sonicelectronix.com 5 1/4 component speakers 5 1/4 non component speaker
  6. lol omg that statement is soooooo true!
  7. get sleep while you can and enjoy them when they little my baby girl is almost 6months now and seems like she growing up so fast, its fun tho gratz man!
  8. i agree with that i rather have more at idle then at higher rpm. my jeep has its own rumble at idle let alone if i hit the gas lol. and and what better way to enjoy your bass then to just sit back and turn car on and enjoy
  9. http://www.google.com/sketchup/download/ EDIT: had to fix link
  10. what i do for side walls is just build the 2d (paper thin) wall going up the push/pull it to the thickness i want or build the outline on the base of the box to lenght and thickness and pull it up to the height i want this way doesn't work for angled side peice tho, for angle i use the first way and just build the wall up to its height and thickness and pull it to the lenght i need, i'm sure theres a better way of doing it, i know you can build peice and move them into place i think i just never figured out how to do it yet i'm kinda in same boat as you still learning what all i can do with it and figuring stuff out but i how i can be of atleast a little help
  11. i always just type in what i want it say push/pull click on push or pull it just little bit and just type like 3/4 or .75 and hit enter and it goes to that size same with lines and stuff just type in the lenght and hit enter on for things that have 2 sides like square or what ever it would be 30, 30 then enter. i just played around with it befor i start to build anything with it myself cuz i didn't see much help learning it
  12. oh. well theres always room during the day to make yourself look like an ass lol i just had my moment
  13. hehe ya i hear ya about the scrap bin i would be there for hours i think, and sorry bout the miss up lol i'm just crazy some times
  14. i might be wrong but wasn't it you in his is lastest video? with the civic and he lets you? drive the hoe? if it was i thought he said you got some wire out of the scrap bin? lol i don't know i might just need my hearing and eyes checked
  15. should be fine ya and still have safety net incase it does ever short. that why you were getting wire from steve? lucky bastard lol would love to dig thru his scrap bin
  16. only answer i know is in the wiring guide thats pinned and as for not having it fused well stock my wire from alt to battle was not fused and i did the big 3 with 2 gauge and left it un fused so it won't hurt not having a fuse just need to watch out as to not have the wire short out if not fused all i can say
  17. i don't think welding cable would hurt nothing, i use semi battery cable (2 gauge) for all my power and ground and its all fine, the welding wire is prolly even better if its bigger gauge i would think since it does handle alot of amps and volts just my thinking anyways take it for what you will
  18. well the front board didn't come out well at all so no counter sunk subs for me, maybe next box i build i'll have router for. oh well box is still there thats the main part i guess not bad for first box build i think will post pics in few days when i get it all finshed with the under coating and bed liner and subs in
  19. i would love to have it but my amp would do nothing for that beast! and can't afford new speaker and new amp lol or i would so want it GL
  20. turbo goes befor the intercooler then to the intake and run the stuff for the oil and i beleave you should be all set..... never put one on a mower befor so might have to do some other stuff too not sure
  21. still got to make the front board yet but i need someone to help with that with having to cut spot for the port and both subs and get the holes all even i don't trust myself with that yet not till i get a router and make few more boxes but heres few pics of my putting on the finsh to everthing but the front of the box
  22. he said it best what the big 3 is go to that link and it will walk you thru it step by step
  23. most alts are 2 bolts main to take it off bolt for power wire and a plug on the back its pretty easy to do if but if you don't feel you can do it yourself prolly best to have someone to do it for you friend that works on cars alot or pro as for price not sure myself i still run stock alt
  24. you'll prolly want to do the big 3 upgrade also to take advantage of the bigger amp alt
