a little glass, some mdf, little less leg space... mmm i think it could be hehe. my thing is my libby is weird the door speakers are 6 3/4's but ya the plastic cover has a 8" beval? hehe just make me want to stick a 8" sub right there. but 4.5" deep mmm that might push it little bit. alot of mdf ring to space it out? lol ahh in time i'm sure i'll figure something out for my doors but this does give me a few good ideas in my head of what i might be able to do with the right skill/time/money

What kinda jeep do you have also? smaller the suv i'm going to guess the easier it would be to get the air to move. and like alot will tell you the box has ALOT to do with it. i got one of the smaller jeeps "Liberty" and i know once i build a box for my subs instead of a permade box i heard a huge change and feel the change as pressure in my ears and stuff moving more with the beat. honestly i myself would have to think it has alot to do with the size of your jeep. full sized jeep might need more cone area to do a hair trick then a small jeep would? could be wrong on that so don't hold me to it. but if you can fit 18's in a proper built box i would save for those and the amp to power them atleast to their rms rating and even if you don't do a hair trick you will be happy

just to give everyone an idea this is what i got designed so far with the above specs

all port edges will be 45's with a V peive in center of port between each chamber to help push the air out the port instead of chamber to chamber. and using 1" dolle and 45's on all corners for bracing might change box later when i learn more about making the but for now this seems good to me just need to save few months checks to get some bad ass dc's and give my type arrr's to my girl

ya the cubes per chamber is after port has been subtracted

like other guys said site says 3-5 per ported so i think it would be ok but wanted some insight from the guys that have ran dc subs befor

no dual box 3.36 cubes per chamber, ported to 32.82hz.

ok i saving to get 2 dc lvl4 xl 15's and i got box designed and everything but want to double check something is 3.36 cubes per sub enough for these at 2k rms per sub box tuned to 32.82hz? the cubes per sub is with out the sub displacment not sure if i will mount them normal or inverted. anyone have some insight on this?

depens where you go and what kinda unit you get atleast in my area thats who it works, i know few guys the store their boats and hot rods in them

10g more ya i think i'd pass on that just to have a nut cooler as Gotz1lung said lol. might be better of doing like what he said making a pro con list and think about what you want to do with it and go from there as what fits you better
