From what I'm told last yrs winner was a truck doing a burnout with a bike in the bed of the truck doing one as well. I'm stoked this will be my first show on the West Coast! A great show for sure and I get to do it with Rusty and Ana in the lanes as well! Fantastic absolutely fan fawkingtastic! I get to meet tons of new people as well as getting in the lanes with a few I've known for yrs in the forums!

Last seen in the garage with Ana working on the rex. Word has it they are making thier way here If you see them be careful on approach. Word has it they are hungry and carry dbz in thier pockets.

That could definately cause a clipped signal. Glad you figured it out

I have many friends that have run single 3500 and single 4500 watt amps on individual xls. It all comes down to a very clean signal and the right box. Personally I like to have more power than I need. It allows the amp to work more effeciently and helps to keep from clipping. No one has ever said that you have to use all the amps power. Just dial it back some and have fun!!

Someone really wanted the 8's so they were sold lol I'm going to be at the 2x DbDrag in cali on June 4th. I'm trying to get all the details so I can post the event. I had them tuned as low as 30hz and played as low as 26hz. They really shine in the 34-36hz range.

More port area would help and as far as every trunk I've worked on the farther the box gets from the windshield the better the score. Yes I was giving them 1k+ ea for the length of Guccis Hold That Thought. They would start to get pretty warm but when I pulled them the coils and leads were still new looking. I didnt really make a build log for this as most of the car is already built. All I did was change baffles lol

Well..... Realistically they can take 2500-3k comfortably for extended periods of time. They like small boxes. 1.8 is too big. With a single 3500 watt amp I'd put them in 1.2 cu after displacement. 4 of these in your trunk + batts + amps = more than you can fit in your trunk. I have a fairly large trunk and I couldnt fit that in it lol

5 DC lvl 2 8's wired at .6 on the ab 1100.1 lol Giving them about 85% power so far. I'll start testing shortly. I've been breaking them in playing songs from 30hz to 36hz

This is much better. I usually recommend 3.5cu per 15 for a total of 7 so 7.5 is not bad.
