OP I have some large chunks missing from my motor as well. It does not take away from performance at all. Having said that mine are much larger than what you pictured while it does take away from the cosmetic value it shouldnt deter you from powering that monster up and wang out!! Now as far as filing a claim I would do so but dont expect any quick responses from them. Thats gonna take awhile but in the end ya may end up with some money who knows. I'm sure if your not 100% satisfied with your sub Rusty will take care of you. Thats just how he rolls! P.S. Nice title and yes you can have a piece of the DC Pie! Wooooot!!

How well did that meter and how big would a box have to be to do 2 10 in a t line firing forward out of a trunk?

Yes you can tune it with an o scope. If you pay attention steve uses his bass knobs as gain control. He turns it up for short demos and backs it off to charge.

I'm very very hard on my subs. I'm always looking for ways to put more power to em. I use smaller boxes with bigger ports and an extra spider or 2 to help when I accidently drop 10hz below freq. lol A strong electrical and clean signal are your best friend.

In the right box those xl's will definately take that and then some. I know of several builds with a 3500 on a single xl. It's all in the box and your electrical but the subs should like it no problem.

There are very few subs that can take a true 4krms daily. I would wager to say that 80% or more of the setups with 4 or 5k amps on thier individual subs dont even come close to the amps rated power.

15 high x 35w by 23.5 These are the max dimensions I can have on any box I can put in or out of the trunk. I'm always open to new ideas.... P.S. This box was never supposed to work.... How about a design for a 10in center firing aero? At some point this year I want to try swapping out 12's for a cone advantage test and with these rings its perfect for a drop in test:)

I installed a 1000.1 in my neighbors Jeep Liberty and know its ran all out everyday at 1ohm with no problems. Very reliable imo OP It just may be possible that DC is looking into new and bigger amps that will be marketed for the US and Beyond:)
