ok so i didnt know where to put this but my friend talks alot about stereos and shit but has no clue about what he's talkin about. he said sum guy he knows is running an old school kicker 18. thats believable but he says that its being powered by 12,000 watts daily on stock electrical. i was like WTF?!? then he said that when the mtx car showed up in town with the jackhammer noone was allowed within 250 feet of it because it hit 190 db and u would die. lol i told him jackhammers cant hit more than 140 he said but they are so big they gotta be way louder than a normal sub. i agreed with him so he' stfu. my friend is a tard.

the only reason it cuts out is because of not enough voltage to power the amp. and thanks guys for the info really appreciate it

a friend told me that your sub can actually last longer being over powered on a clean signal compared to underpowered on a clipped signal. is this true?

your gonna need a votmeter and a clean 50 hz tone set the gain on the amp all the way down then turn ur headunit up about 3/4 (if the speakers handle it) and set the sub level at 0. play the 50 hz tone and put the voltmeter on AC volts and place it on the outputs of the amps and since volts is the root of watts times ohms youll need about 24 volts so just turn the gain up until it gets to 24 AC volts. I have an old turbo off a mazda 626 and i want to put it on my mower and i was just wondering if all i need to do is run an oil pump and an oil cooler for oil. i dont need the guages or nothing and does the air go thru the intercooler before the turbo or after?

ive got a stock batt up front and a marine in back off a 70 amp alt running a kac x1r at 1 ohm 1000wrms and i bump all day long and it aint crapped out on me yet

I want to upgrade my system to 2 fi ssd D1 18's. walled in a 96 elantra wagon gonna be a daily driver but i want it loud so i need to know what size box and port and the tuning. will be run off a kac-x1r at one ohm until i can get a more powerful amp. thanks in advance
