    99% install is what determines output and doing a hairtrick isnt as simple as throwing some subs in a car and playing it loud there is a science to it cone area does help but if you have 2 10s and a SICK box it would sound better/louder than 2 18s in a shitty box

    More spark means more efficient fuel burn because there is more spark doesn't mean there is more fuel injected to be burned

    No problem man just remember 99% of the time if you put your heat and soul into it you will be rewarded with the results if you just throw together some wood and speakers that's how it's going to sound you get what you put in sometimes 10fold

    4th orders aren't easy they aren't for the novice if you don't want to put in the effort to make one that is worth it (sounds good) then I would just stick to a simple ported design the one sani did for you would be sick

    It all depends on the ratio ported to sealed but from what u know about 4ths and seeing as that I am currently building one my self it would be better to have the subs facing forward not up just my .02

    I never said that I was a know it all bit I do know plenty of people including Matt from mechman that was run his silverado on 16.5v for like 3 years with absolutely no problems he uses D1400s in all his vehicles I have spoken with him on the phone and he said I'm perfectly fine

    I have a 91 C1500 the ecu and everything will be fine you guys are misunderstanding the question I will have no problems running 16.5v

    ill be trying out glassing for the first time soon as well it seems pretty straight fore ward just remember you get back what you put into it if you half ass it its going to look like shit but if you take your time and pay attention it will turn out great

    i will be running 3 D1400s and a 270 mechman alt internally regulated at 16.5v my question is does running a 16v system make other things in the car run more efficiently like say do the spark plugs "spark" more or hotter dont flame me for asking such a dumb question i want just curious if i might get better gas mileage because of this thanks :drinks:
