Good stuff man, I LOVE aviation. I am only 17 now you know, so not enough money to to spend on lessons, I have taken a few, but I would def. get my helicopter license over plane, I have piloted both and helicopter is 1000x more fun . But 1000x more expensive at the same time. I will be applying to the USNA and the USCGA soon. Jet videos harrr http://www.youtube.com/user/Paintball4lyfe92

Yeah the Kolossus Fleks is looking good to me, pretty cheap and big from what I have seen.

Ok so thanks to you guys and some nice guys at CS from DC and Mechman, I have almost 100% made my alt decision, which is Mechman, just can't afford to pay $489 for a DC alt. Now, I have my battery/alt planned, but what good is power if you cant transfer it right? The only power wire I have used is Streetwires 4 guage and Rockford 4 guage. While I can't complain about the size of the Rockford, I can complain about the price. What kind of wire do you guys use, and what is the best?

Well, because money is tight, and the cheapest one DC offers for my car is $489 and Mechman is $389, Mechman is winning right now.

Lots of diet coke, I love diet drinks so much more than regular, too lazy for picture. -
I talked to someone on the phone, cant remember the name.

So, I talked to DC and Mechman, DC has an alt for my car that does 120 idle and 200 rev'd, for $389. Mechman has one that does 160 idle and 270 rev'd for $399... Which do you guys recommend? Keep in mind it only needs to push 2-3k watts.

Yeah but I went to their website and it said there were no alts for mustangs.

Shopping for alternators for my new system, its going in a 4.0L 2006 Mustang to power a 12" BTL getting 2-3k RMS. Anyone have a suggestion of an alternator to use? Was looking at a 230 AMP one from Powerbastards.com, any reviews on these?
