  1. skillz building a very basic box according to your statement exactly what i was gonna say
  2. nope no excel is needed. it's a windows based application so it runs off the equation on the inner coding. quick snap shot of it but thanks for the link
  3. got the lil compartment together now. jigsaw cuts FTW inside with the false floor in basic mock up of it on the console with my lil cup holder. gotta brace the frame for the volt meter, and the panel for my switches. which i think i might try something fancy ish if i can get it to work right. then wrap the thing in fleece and get to glassin
  4. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif i hate how your car meters so high...and i have the same one and cant get any higher than shit http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif tho i havent been metered in a while but good score
  5. i'm a sundown man for amps and subs. great products, badass customer service. for head units, i'm still lookin. i've had trouble with pioneer, kenwood, and alpine (tho the alpine one i got was messed up with to begin with, bought it used). those three were flip out monitors. next i wanna try a clarion, alpine w205, or eclipse double din. i'll probably get a clarion unit next
  6. learned a lil visual basic programming language...so i wanted to make somethin a lil easier on the eyes
  7. i also made one to download . it's a graphical interface instead of a spread sheet. it's in my sig if you want it EDIT: fixed
  8. ford explorer 2 door. and thanks i'll get to posting the pics later. it's time to get my drank on
  9. hahaha shut it! my amp is on its way back...so i'm happy bout that.
  10. there's the new compartment just mocked up together. it's going to have a false floor so i can put the console in, screw it down at the base, then put the floor in that's my cut line to kinda blend it in to the factory piece and where my cup holder will be. and add some curvage these tabs are what will hold it up. they'll be glued in and probably glassed in a little cuz i dont want them falling off. would be a HUGE pain to have to fix. i have a few more pics, but i gotta get ready for work. so i'll post them tonight probably if i dont end up going out
  11. the wood isnt quite as crooked as it looks get both pieces back in i glassed em together, but forgot to take pics this piece is going to get molded to the other factory piece, so it butts up to the dash without me having to do extra work
  12. hahaha that's the plan. it was done a LONG time ago. i honestly forget what it goes to. everything else i was able to trace and take out. but when i start wiring all the odds and ends together i'm going to solder them. gonna find me some heat shrinks as well
  13. the cup holder i'm keeping the base few layers of glass on it drying in the light got it out and trimmed up now those lil triangles you see, they're cut out like that to allow me to slide it in to place. there's 2 screws at the front i'm not going to be using since i wont have a top piece that pops off. so the whole thing needs to slide into place there's the bolts sitting in then slid into place
  14. ok so i finally decided to start redoing my center console. it's not going to be anything tooooo fancy. just displaying a volt meter, some switches, relocated a cup holder and a new compartment. there's my volt meter. it's red, not purple fyi console out UGLY wiring mess. ew...time to clean that up much better got rid of the controls and braced it at first i was just going to chop up a little of my console and just kinda jazz it up. the more i thought about it, the more i figured i should start from scratch. so i threw that piece away in the last few pics this piece will be kept tho.
  15. of course. it's en expedition. he just doesnt need to use ALL that space. just what's needed.

  21. http://shop.ebay.com/items/__touch-screen-...20repair?_rdc=1 not sure if that'd repair it to full working order or not. you'd have to ask a couple of the sellers
  22. question...is it REQUIRED to be painted in a room? then bake it afterwards? or is it just more helpful to do so? i know to take wind and dust and stuff into consideration, but i'm just curious. i'm interested in painting my car a flat black sometime possibly
