  1. Badass, the opposite of "turn it to the left"!
  2. No problem man, glad I can help!

  4. I used stay on Rosecrans and Bullis...thats real close.. Did you happen to go to D-high??? By da cemetery? Or past da swapmeet? na, I moved 2 riverside b4 I started high school, but I stay in compton on weekends & vacations...
  5. Damn, ya'll stayin close as hell 2 my place... Compton+bradfield....
  6. It's funny because most people that talk shit never back it up... But it pisses me off because most people only know mainstream brands & when you mention Fi, DAT, Audioque, IA, etc... they say it's trash just cause they haven't heard of those companies and try to put you down cause they think you don't know shit about audio!
  7. That's what I'm sayin, if people already look like they're gonna shit their pants seein an 18", a 21" would actually make it happen!
  8. Think about people's reactions when they see a 21" sub in your ride!
  9. Damn, that 18's gonna tear that Geo apart!!! Congrats on the hairtrick!
  10. That's a better way of putting it.(no need for rudeness, we all have a different point of view for certain things) Like I said, most people aren't sure on what their vehicle's resonant frequency is, so mid 30's would work in some cases.(also, he didn't mention anything about getting metered for burps or music)
  11. Chill out! I ain't doubtin em, I just suggested that because most people don't know their resonant frequency and 34hz would get pretty loud and still hit some lows...
  12. Ok genius, let's hear your suggestions...
  13. I'm kinda gettin it now.....it's kinda like when I had a 12" audiobahn and it sounded great in a sealed box, then I removed it and put it in a ported box and it sounded horrible, didn't even hit lows....
  14. That's true....I've made plenty of ported enclosures and never had any problems with the way the set ups sounded...except one...
  15. Well yea, I get that part, but I still don't get how some subs are only recommended for ported enclosures if cancellation can occur... Sorry for all the questions.. And thanks for all your responses, still learning as ya'll can see!
  16. Doesn't that only happen when subs that are recommended for sealed enclosures are placed in a ported enclosure?
  17. could you explain it to me, i know about the whole more cone area is louder thing, but a ported enclosure uses both sides of the cone and i read (on the dd audio website i think it was) that it's basically a 2 for 1....
  18. Does 1 properly ported sub equal 2 sealed?(same size subs of course)
  19. You can't wire dual 1 ohms @ 1 ohm... it's either .5ohm(parallel) or 2ohms(series)
