  1. Really nice camera, been looking for one down the road to be able to shoot some vids with. I like that, nice job
  2. Agreed, mine did very well off of 1200w and in a box 5.5ft3 tuned to 32hz. Matter of fact, I still have that box now, its acting as a cabinet in the corner of my room lol.
  3. I wish, lol, but naw, paid for the design from another guy. I can PM you is info if you like.
  4. LMAO, my bad here you go, http://www.youtube.com/user/tezaintright
  5. To what, specifically? The design? It was done by a forum member on CA.com, not sure if he is over here. Yea, thats the goal, going to sawsall the metal behind the seat a little bit for the port, but shouldnt be a issue. Its only going to be my temp daily, while I save for my bigger build, next design will have the port going through my rear deck. This one prob could, but didnt want to cut it just yet.
  6. Very cool Decaf, and your daughter is just too cute. Seems like we have a future basshead in the making!! And I must have that song
  7. That will pound trust me, my sub was getting 1200w maybe, the kicker was putting out the power, but i was having voltage drops im sure. And here is a little sneak preview of whats coming soon,....
  8. Thats a beautiful design, but its not going to work. Its no way that trunk "well" part or center has 48" of width, its 42" max and thats pushing it. Not to mention its not 28" of depth, subs would literly be touching the trunk lid. Im knocking this guy, because I love seen Crown Vic and Grand Marquis builds, (since I own one ) however I think he need to be a little more realistic about his goals. Id love to do (2) LVL 4 18's in my trunk, but I know thats not going to happen. One LVL 5 with a lot of power in a proper box will def provide the bass he seeks, in my opinon.
  9. Wow, man R.I.P Cap Lou, I remember those days when I enjoyed wrestling
  10. Cool beans Mike, still miss the 10s Looks like a fun little project, im sure you can slide your seat back further now lol.
  11. I feel ya man, got to do whats best for you, right? Now, one option I failed to mention, even though this is on the DC Forum, and I love Rusty's products, I might suggest another sub. Sundown Audio Nightshade 18's will work in as small as 4ft3 net each and still give suprising results. Whatever you decide, good luck
  12. I would really suggest a wall if you insist on (2) 18s. I have a 04 Vic, so I know the car very well. 2 aint going to happen in the trunk at all. Im currently running (1) or at least I was, (sold my bass amp ) in my trunk and it gets down and dirty off 1200w. I hear what your saying as far as what you want to do but you also have to be reasonable. I also suggested a wall for maxinum impact into your cabin, plus leaves you most of the trunk for batteries, (which you going to need a few with this setup) and your amps. Plus, car is not a daily driver, so I say go for the gusto. Any pics of it? I like the direction your going with it.
  13. Looks like he just snatched the demo wall out of one of the local shops and stuck it in the back. The only thing I took from this video is the grill on the Dub7, i think im going to use that idea to protect my mids when I get my doors done. Otherwise, this guys setup is a complete fail, lol.
  14. Should work well, I had a Kicker 750.1 on a Sound Splinter RL-p 15", (1000w RMS) pushed it very well, but that 1000.1 would be better Thanks Rusty, gets the job done. Hoping to replace it with some more of your products very soon.
  15. Indeed Must be cool to be able to chill out with Rusty and talk car audio, seems like u guys had a great time.
  16. Matter of fact, it could prob stand a atomic blast lol, thats a seriously solid box.
  17. Thanks for the feedback guys, it gets the job done. I though about bubble rap as well, seems like it would work pretty good. If my damn plates could be screwed at the top and bottom, im sure that would help, (top only on my car) But like I mention above, ive got a few ideas that will both increase output into the cabin very well, and get rid of the trunk rattle all together. Stay tuned
