You all realize that if you live in Nevada, Arizona, or New Mexico, there is still radiation there. A mammogram or CT scan gives off more radiation than what is leaking in Japan right now. I'm sick of this shit all over the news already. I wonder if Japan sent us aid when we had the big ones in L.A., San Fran, or Landers. Probably not. And its been said, but live your life ad stop worrying about shit out of your control, if the radiation is really bad and comes over here, fuck it.

That was my first choice. Not right away. DC is out of all sizes of CF caps. Would that change the characteristics of the sub. Like if I were changing 3 subs to cf to match 9 that already are cf?

If I were to replace the dust caps on my xl's with CF caps, whats the easiest way to remove the old ones cleanly?

Any body ever been to one?? After getting raped by a muffler shop to put my emission stuff back on, I go to get my car smogged and they won't do it because the sticker on the hood says "This vehicle is not intended for sale in California". I try to explain to the guy that the DMV told me there's an exception for military personnel, but he tells me to call a referee smog check center and see if they will pass it for me. 'IF' is the key word here. I'm taking it in tomorrow, just wondering if anyone here has used one before. Its a god damn 2010 with barely 8000 miles on it, I shouldn't need to smog it yet anyway, these emissions laws in Cali are fucking ridiculous. What pisses me off even more are the fucked up cars I see driving around smoking and shit that could never pass a smog check, yet they do.

Clean up the way those 6x9's are mounted. Everything else looks very good. Clean car for 140000 miles. Hows it run?

Flare the port and you will be fine. I really don't see that little corner covered up being that big an issue, but rounding the port exit on the side closest to the sub will help.

Anybody see any issues that may arise from using the design in the previous post? I'm about to go buy wood and get to cutting.

I've decided on a design I want to try. It comes out about 5 inches from the trunk opening(where the seat folds down). My amps will be below where the bottom of the back seat would be. Here's my shitty attempt at Sketch, you get the idea. Come out to 3.6 cubes tuned to 34hz. Single 6 inch aero port.

I think i'm gonna drop to a 12.

I'm working on it. It would be a little different, the box would be 16" deep, then step up 5" and go x" deeper. Overall height will only be 11-12 inches to give the sub plenty of space between itself and the trunk. Still 34" wide.

The following design is for sub/port back. And leaves 6 inches between the port and back wall.

I just went and did some measuring. Although sub/port forward would be loudest, I would have to cut ALOT. Ain't gonna happen. But I can do either sub/port back or subup port back if I build a low, long box. I'm working some numbers/designs now.
