    I know nobody wants to hear this, but the only way we'll ever get good AND cheap coverage is higher taxes. Here in Germany, the taxes are very high, but all public services are second to none. Everyone is covered for anything.

    Thank you sir. That was my gut feeling. Thats how this is gonna go. Two LVL5 12s on maybe 3500 each?? Gonna be around summer before this gets done, but this shits coming. Crazy loud trunk car FTMFW. BTW, teh car will be fast, too. 600-700 hp and 150 db's when all is said and done.

    That part is still undecided, very early stage of planning. My idea is subs back, port back, but I am open to suggestions. I do like the idea of a sealed off trunk subs forward, port forward. Just looking for experienced opinions right now.

    Look, im not gonna cut because it wont give me that much more room. Like I said before, the trunk is pretty big, just the openings in the back and at the seat folddown are small as hell. The bottom line is the box will be assembled in the trunk, I only want help from those who have done this kind of build before.

    It makes sense but, im not takin a sawzal to this ride. I got 34 inches wide by 13 high WITH cutting and I got a box design for a single 12 with the help of Decaf with those dimensions. A box for two 12s is no way gonna fit through there.

    Apparently, you havn't tried to get a box into a Mustang trunk. Im only tryin to get info from guys who have done a 'build in the trunk' box. No offense Mr P, but this opening is rediculous. And keep in mind I need enough airspace for two lvl5s.

    Kreg jig is sounding nice. To Raytard; Im going to brace the shit out of this thing. The xl I got now would be tearing my current box apart without the extra bracing I put in it.

    Nope. The 11" I got is metal to metal. I would have to cut the rear deck a little to get even 13".

    Thats what im thinkin. Do like a mock build and then glue everything together inside the trunk. Do you have any helpful tips or things you would have done differently?

    Cant do it. The opening is only 11 inches high. And if I cut what I think your friend did, I'd only gain a couple inches. Thats right where the rear axle is, so the opening is small. The trunk is a good size, just getting large things in there is a bish.

    My new plan involves two level 5s in my current ride. The only concern I have is the box. Im going to assemble it inside the trunk. The opening is just too small to fit box through. I had to physically beat the hell out of my current box to get it in. Has anybody here ever done a box assembly IN the trunk. Any advice or lessons learned would be very helpful
