  3. Hey, I have a Pioneer GM-D7400M and i have been looking into getting a DC 12" but not sure what would sound better with my amp. I know the lvl 2 only takes 300rms but i dont want to get the lvl 3 and have it hardly move because it would be underpowered by 200rms. What do you guys think would be best?
  4. Hmm i guees 92' doesent fit in the category . but many of the examples math with my life at least!

I saw your vs. thread. cone area is king, I think you should do 2 lvl 2 12's and a 1500rwms @ 1ohm amp

  6. Just a small sideshow on what i did, with a small clip at the end with it underpowered at 8ohm. It will be getting 400 rms soon at 2 ohm when i get my hands on some wire! Pioneer TSW-258D4 Subwoofer Pioneer GM-D7400M (not hooked up)
  7. Yeah i saw it. The tank looks so bad ass and was a creative idea. but I'm not a fan of yellow. personally i don't think he will top the black widow.
  8. This will be my first box that i have made for myself and I'm expecting some mistakes to occur! lol thanks again for all the great input. i posted this question in subwoofers / enclosures but i was wondering if you guys knew if there is a difference is sound if i were to put the sub facing up in a "L ported" box compared to parallel to the port? if not. Thanks anyways!
  9. Thanks for the input Skullz and NRG. I'm planning on making my own box useing RE Enclosure Calculator. NRG Do you have the same sub? Thx!
  10. will this amp here be an overkill at 400rms @ 2ohm? thanks again for all the help!
  11. Thanks alotfor the comment! The sub is a 10" pioneer (its my first system) ts w258d4. Again thank you for the information!
  12. so my sub is rated at 350 rms. probably around 170 for each coil. I'm just wondering, is it safe to run this sub off of a 2 ohm mono? And if you guys have any ideas for what amp i should look at? Thx for you time!
  13. pinched wires in a bluetooth unit will cause that kind of sound..i guy tried to install his bluetooth unit himself and came to my work to get it fixed all it was was a pinched wire
  14. wow thx everybody for the info it is much appreciated!
  15. Thank you both for the help! I was told that connecting the rca cables to the rear speakers will give a good enough signal to the amp. i was wondering if this was true or if it will even work, because i dont want to ruin anything without knowing what to do. i dont mind cutting up some cables to get a good easy signal. Thank you again for the help.
  16. OK so I'm trying to wire up an amp using my stock deck and by now you probably realize i have no professional experience. i have two questions to ask. 1) Is it ok to use an accessory wire instead of a remote wire from deck. 2) i obiously have no rca ports on the back of stock deck and was wondering what options i had without buyinh a new deck. ( dont worry i'm not cheap but its a just a project). Thx for all help
