ya its like a bag you put the bat in and it reflects heat -
just got xs charger from snow he adjusted the voltage to where i wanted it and was fast and responsive to any ?s i had

other then that i would just call mechman in the morning and maybe they can troble shoot it for you they have good cs so they should get you up and running -

Well do you still have the stock alt if so put that back in and see what the voltage is like with it and how fast it goes back to 14s -

clean the throttle body that should bring your idle up in gear at least it did for mine i have 03 suburban so close to yours. not shure whats going on with the alt taking forever to get back up to 14s tho you replace the idler arm recently i know you need a tight belt for the smaller mechman pully, maybey even a lil bit shorter. are you hearing any slip when the alt is under full load? -

did you set the amp with the knob all the way up and sometimes it depends on the music some songs are 0db -5 -10 ect. -

love them they make it to my house in one busness day witch is crazy fast -
i do smoove works great youll just have to adjust it when it warms back up in the summer to keep the where you want it charging takes like 2 mins to do. i got to order a second one for my dual alt set up
