  1. I think this would be cool as hell.....my daughter and I both play. she is a lefty, I am right.....even my 3 year old shows interest. we both like classic rock, but play pretty much anything that "strikes our chords" lol
  2. I dont think I would push them that far. thats 50% more power than recommended. what kind of power would you get to them if you ran both speakers off one channel? at 2 ohms?
  3. damn, looks sick....I should have gotten a smaller truck mine is gonna hurt like hell
  4. Whips look sick bro! even though the lexus looked good fish bowling it, looks tits tinted And thought that was mike...lol he still under the name TINT2K? we used to ride together back when I had my first GSXR1000, and he was working out of his moms house getting things going. looks like he's doing pretty good now! how much longer you going to have chickens rides there? would love to sweet talk you into my wife and I coming out for a few to say what up?
  5. bumpidy bump, bumpidy bump figured id better keep adding pics with my bumps.....after fresh glass....checking for fit before smoothing out with filler and primer
  6. I liked the sound up higher. sharpened everything up and brought up the stage. the 4's were run off the deck, the tweets were running off some power with the component set, the rest of which was in the kicks. all my sound is polk. love the brand, and the 4's aren't for sale. just the pillars.
  7. I cant believe your putting 10's in the doors, let alone three in each!!! but going that far on them, I vote for glassing the whole door. I am squeezing in an 8" sub three 6.5's, and three tweets and thought I was pushing it for space. your doors are going to be f$%#ing sick! cant wait for the other pics :woot: :woot:
  8. ---SOLD---thanks Dan. up for sale is a set of molded fiberglassed a-pillars for any chevy truck from 88-2000. (except for the body style change in 99 I think. but the crewcabs stayed the same) still unfinished, needs cleaned up, wrapped in vinyl or finished and painted. built them to house the 4"coax polks and a tweeter. wanting to rebuild and put dual 4" in each pillar but these are too nice to just cut off. asking $100, or $50 and your (gray) a-pillars. would like to keep local. ***NO SHIPPING***
  9. my 4 are set up with 2.3 cubes, per sub. 30 square inches of port, per sub, tuned to 34hz. and get about 850 rms daily.
  10. 2006 Hayabusa LE. and times ten for all above. show the responsibility and take the safety course. and I dont think you need 1300cc's, but I do think you will be unhappy with anything smaller than a 600. I always hear people wanting to start small, only to watch them drop some more cash a couple months later for something bigger.
  11. cool beans SM, this sounds like a great way to payback for all I have learned here! will have to get with the boss lady and will sign up soon! thanks for my addiction, for updating it, and for it always being here
  12. cool story bro sorry, had to do it! always love the reactions to these people that dont know better...lol, priceless!
  13. Damn bro, 2x6's up top?! should take some abuse and glad your getting some good use from that rolling cart. shops coming together real nice
  14. 94-98 deville have a set on the ass of my truck. kinda thinking along the lines that pretty much any aftermarkets are pretty fugly....have yet to see something decent. do you have time for bodywork and paint?
  15. HOLY F%$K!!!! I've been on a few times today and completely missed this?? Bad ass build bro, inspirational.....to say the least! love seeing this kind of work and detail!!! woo hoo, first on page 6
  16. I heard that the RE calculator was a little off. I used 12volt.com for my port dimensions. and it seemed to work out pretty damn good. and yes. multiply by two....so 4.6 cubic feet after all displacement of port and subs. and 60 square inches of port. double check with the guys here just before you build to make sure the port length is right for the tuning you want. stay with 60 square inches, but until I know the size of your box, dont know the length of the port
  17. Marlo Stanfield gave me some dimensions just for the type r's...he is also here on this forum. and I have to say that I am "REALLY" happy with my enclosure. gets really low, and loud off 3500 watts to the 4 subs. these specs are PER SUB, 2.3 cubic ft internal volume after displacement, and 30 square inches of port. tuned to 34hz. I cant say that that will work for all subs as subs are just designed different. maybe you will be lucky and it will work with your T1's. But I do stand behind marlo's specs for the type r's:)
  18. I always looked at it as you bought it because you wanted it. if you are considering reselling it later, wait till you get what you want to do the big custom stuff to it. Once I got the truck I always wanted, i cut that bish lol
  19. Nice, cant wait to see the new set up. that area looks like the perfect size to work out of. being that you can close the door and keep the dust out of the rest of the shop And I hear ya on the favors thing. I understand. if you do need anything, just yell.....or call. will prob hear ya better if you call as yelling doesn't get very far....lol
  20. Damn, there goes the neighborhood going to start having a meet every now and then there, or just show up with some BBQ? lol
  21. congrats on the buy heading to home depot tomorrow after work. And I will get the materials price for ya for the bench we talked about. I know you said to estimate labor as well, but I really am just going to charge for the materials. you have help so many people here, promoted so many sponsors and gave away so much to help get people started, let me do this for you. Kinda like a small thanks homie
