Whats happenin cracka! lol- just checkin up on your progress. havent been on for a little bit. been busy. but did finish my a-pillars. not too bad for first time:) (although it took three times to get where i wanted) will post pics soon. spent a little too much on a bike, so may have to wait a little longer to get the rest of the system up and going...an '06 Hayabusa LE, pics on that soon too:)

I was on a SMALL budget when I started my build. bought all 4 of my type R's for $400 new. And just under a $1000 for all 4 amps. Not sure what it would cost for a recone, but at that point I'd just buy a new sub and turn the power down a little. they get loud, hit the lows, (tuned to 34hz), and are going strong....sure, if I had a million dollas, I go bigger, but for the little bit that I have into my system, feel pretty good about it. I say if you can afford it, go bigger (better), but I think they are nice for the money.........they work great for me! -
those are actually pretty sick looking......I love mine inverted. adds so much asthetically. was bored with the fronts, and can get creative with wiring them. there is a bmw build here somewhere and he used copper tubing for his subs. was sick with the bends and layout.....will post link if I find it

yes and no.....still thinking of how it can be done. planned to run them without the bottoms on, and thinking of some kind of air flow over the heat sinks.......still brainstorming. running all the batteries on the floor behind the rear seat, so not sure where to run the amps. dont want under the seat, kids, spills, ect. was thinking of j price's tahoe and running them in the console, but thought stacking them would give me more heat problems. we shall see, but would be nice mounted above with some nice fiberglass around them, cooling built in, and lit up with led's......... -

lol, thats with the side panels out.....glassing some new ones, inspired by your build, to house some of the 6.5's on the lower end and 4's higher up.... will make you proud homie will pm you when I finally start a build log. still gathering parts. accordian boot came yesterday, bearings for alt install will be here early next week, wire soon, once funds are there. thinking 250' of 0 gauge to start....still need to do some battery shopping. want to mount amps on roof, so still have to figure that out..... SOON MAN SOON
