  1. Free Fallin by Tom Petty is one of my favorite songs ever.
  2. Just a physical drive that updates itself everytime you change a file. It's not that complicated (I'm not running it). The computer sees both drives, but only reports them as one. As far as the users concerned, it's just one drive (unless one crashes, then the other can boot the system and you don't loose anything).
  3. Wait for windows 7. It's supposed to be a shitton faster than Vista and use less memory than Vista.
  4. Second Skin Superheat Insulation. So when is the winner going to be announced? It's 8 weeks tomorrow.
  5. I'm no expert at partitions/RAID, but it sounds like it might work.
  6. That's gonna look sweet. Got a photochop of it?
  7. IIRC, his amps are strapped. Which means all he has to do i set the gains on one and the others are set to the same power level. Your Home depot must be full of idiots (to damage the wood). My local Home depot is where I go when I want wood. Never a bad board in the bunch (well, at least what I get).
  8. The only problem I had with Vista was slow startup and I never could backup certain files (music, regardless of what format). I was able to get some of my music backed up while ago, but the backup drive crashed ( :censored: ) I really like the look of Vista. It's by far one of the best graphical interfaces I've seen (IMO, of course). Of course, I've only ever owned Win 98 (laugh if you want) and Vista. My parents had XP, but I almost never used it, so I can't compare to it.
  9. Never mnd now. It quit and I can't turn it back on. I never got my files copied. Mods, please lock.
  10. Please help! I got my comp to turn on but I can't copy my Itunes or other important files! I get the following error message: 0x8007045D I researched the error code but no matter what I try I can't copy my files. I've tried everything. I really need to backup my drive (doing it manually). I have everything except Itunes and the system files backed up (pics, docs, etc). Does anyone know how to fix this error? I am running Vista Home Premium.
  11. Uhoh. Better get that fixed. That's gotta be a lotta bass to break an accordian boot.
  12. Depends on your preferences. Sealed has beter SQ and Ported has better SPL. There are some members (not me) who design boxes (should be in their sigs). Read around for a while and see what you think you might like. Trust me, it's well worth the wait.
  13. OH, ok. Use some 12 volt computer fans. They work really good and are cheap. http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.as...;name=Case-Fans Here you go. Any airflow above 10 CFM should do just fine.
  14. Memory will be a big help. I know nothing about those computers, so I don't know which type to buy.
  15. No those are 1600W RMS. An AP3000 will do just fine (as long as it's properly cooled).
  16. You mean to tell me the bass can break your truck, but can't keep a little rain off of it? LOL.
  17. At the time I'm posting this, member 10,000 (10000 is his/her name) is viewing this page. Welcome to the forum 10000! Oh, you've already posted here. I didn't bother reading the entire thread. Reading>me.
  18. Ok so I have 3 options. Option 1: Should I replace my hard drive and save to build a carputer as a seperate system? Option 2: Should I put together a carputer and copy all of my disks important files directly to my carputer (would need this (click here) software, but I've not heard anything negative about it from what I've found). If I go this route, I could just spend money on a larger HDD and be done with it. Option 3: Take my MOBO and other essential components out of my laptop and replace the processor (possibly memory) and hard drive and use it as my carputer? I would need the software mentioned in Option 2. No matter what way I chose, I can only afford AMD (I hate minimum wage). But I'm confident it should be good enough for me (I only play music and maybe the occasional video, but vids are rare). EDIT: Anyone?
  19. Set your gains with a DMM. There's a tutorial in the amp section (it's stickied. Make sure you read the first 10 posts)
  20. Random orbital if I'm not mistaken (I'd have to check, haven't used it in a while).
