  1. Black spray paint on the pieces. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=45762 You can follow a similar procedure to the one used here^^^
  2. IDK if this has been answered (haven't read the rest yet) but I believe you have to add 10 amps to the starting amperage per battery. I might be wrong, though... But like I said, he should never have to worry about a dead battery.
  3. I heard about this myth a few years ago and have been studying the Mayan calendar. It just so happens that the calendar round doesn't actually end until the year 63 million, give or take 5 million years.
  4. I ususally do a combination of both. Tin the leads with solder and crimp it as best as you can and finish soldering. Wrap in a heat shrink boot. As long as it's strong and done right, you're good to go.
  5. It may be a PITA to wire, but look at the bright side; You should never have to worry about a dead battery. Unless your subs somehow forget to turn off.
  6. http://www.instructables.com/id/Build_a_Bike_Boom_Box/ Build your own?
  7. That has to be the worst damage I've ver seen on an Iphone. Sorry it happened. Hope it gets fixed soon.
  8. Mississippi is about 5 years behind everybody else, so not yet. But about 5 years after every other state gets them, we'll likely get them. That' gonna suck. Thank goodness I have a front plate holder.
  9. I believe there is a push/pull tool. I've used it before.
  10. Yep. Mine smoked like no tomorrow. The fire department came to my house fire hoses blazin thinkin my house was burning down. Next time I need to go to an empty parking lot. Once a year should be enough.
  11. I'm thinking about buying the same ones I got last time. I just wanted to know if there were any better ones available that would last. After 3 months the passenger side one developed those crazy lines. Other than that, I never had trouble out of them.
  12. At the risk of getting bandt, I did buy them. They lasted for about 10 uses (about 3 months). I got replacements for free because of that, and they lasted about 4 months and gave out. I gave up on them after that.
  13. When you change the oil, put some seafoam in the oil and let the engine idle. Do not drive the vehicle. When you do, put some in the gas. Also, run some in the vacuum line. Be very careful. Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for any damage to your engine. Including, but not limited to, broken parts. Do not come crying to me if your engine breaks. If you are unsure how to use the product, have it done by a professional.
  14. I'm in bad need of some new windshield wipers. I've had them for a year. The surprising thing is, they only cost 9 bucks a piece (store brand). I would prefer not to buy rain-ex(sp?) wipers. I don't want to say why because I don't want to risk getting bandt. Are there any good ones that will last?
  15. I like it myself. I used some on my dash and rear pillar speakers. I never saw a rubber filler in mine.
  16. Holy... I plan on attending MSU starting Fall of 2010. I don't know what Engineering field I plan on majoring in yet. I'm hoping to take a tour of the Engineering dep. soon.
  17. The only wire like that that I've seen was very cheap. It was supposed to be 14 gauge but had an 18 gauge plastic filler in the center.
  18. Just ignore my post above. I thought that was the new model, but it's not. I looked to be sure. I'm just stupid sometimes.
  19. Chode, could you change my name from "1992Chevy" to "1992Chevy K1500" (without the parentheses). Thanks in advance.
