nope after box rise and taking off power for my electrical it comes out to about 200-300 watts. my amp only "produces" 600 watts @1ohm @ 14.4v gain is scoped at about 3/4 and voltage stays at about 13.4 volts

went and had my truck meter'ed today and on the song White Girl i hit 137.2 at the dash. pretty good for only 200 watts of actual power on a DC level 3 with 4 coils lol i figured id share my little bit of excitement with yall

haha yeah man. a vice will do anything. i actually used a vice one time to stretch an alternator belt

yeah man. its crazy how much little things come into play with elctricty

im going to watch this thread as well. ill be redoing the big3 in 1/0 soon and i want to be lazy and let people tell me where to find the stuff lol. but im pretty sure knukonceptz.com should have terminals for their 1/0 idk though i havent looked

Alt to chassis? Like a ground for the alternator? Should the alternator just ground through its own casing into the engine block? yup! thats actually a better ground because there is rust and gaskets and all kinds of crap that dont give the current a direct path to the frame

I have a Craftsman, at least 15 years old. It gets so hot it stops working after I cut a hole for a subwoofer or two. Haha haha mine was a craftsman as well. and that thing is stretching out that lifetime warranty. lol i have to hold it with a towel. i was cutting a double baffle 12' hole and that thing was on fire!

im not gonna lie i used a Jigsaw similar to that from like 20 years ago and it got so damn hot it was ridiculous. still a trooper though. anyways build looks good!

did you use sandpaper and take away all the paint? i would recommend actually screwing it directly the body. if im not mistaken theres alot of mixed metals in the seatbelt bolts and can mess with the current. they arnt just straight steel. however i could be wrong.

check your ground. could have a crappy connection.
