-
yeah basically my tweeters stopped working then one day the crossover started frying. but the tweeters just went out with no warning. im usin a hifonics 2 chan
-
Nope no smell. now the crossovers burnt! One of them started smoking and caught fire. i took the crossovers out and ran the speakers directly to the amp
-
havent gotten a chance to get them out of the door. but when i do, i am going to check them with a dmm. actually i could probably do that with the speaker wire. hmm

I have the ID CTX65CS and I'm sending roughly 150W RMS to them. They were getting this fine for a while, and one day I got major interference through my speakers. They were pulsating bass like crazy but I took the key out quick so they would stop. I turned the gain down to about a 1/4 and can't go any higher. When I turn it up higher, they start crackling. I'm almost positive their blown? Just wanna be sure

Jeep Cherokees seem to be popular. i like the Jeep SRT8. 4 18s would kill the speed, but it won't run too slow with all that weight -
i would do a sheet of wood under the amp. so box, wood, rubber spacers, then amp
-
dang. learn something new everyday. it's also oversized. pain to getting the 4 gauge wire into any amp. i shaved alot of it off, and it still doesnt fit. i didn't shave any of the Stinger wire off, and it fit perfectly and stays in too! I got it off Darvex for like $1.39 a foot or so

haha i'll check it out tmrw. i cant believe it'd be so simple. i also can't figure out how the guy put the LED light by my clock. I can't remove it -
My alarm has the little spring thing that activates the alarm if the hood is popped and the alarm is armed. I noticed it was loose,so I screwed it in tighter and now it doesn't activate when the hood is popped. i also reloosened it. no luck all wires are still connected to it

I used KnuKonceptz for my Big 3. I have the KLMX (pain to bend and stuff) I prefer Stinger or the higher quality Knu (Kolloseus Flex)
