    This. Basing your tuning off the subs fs is asking for trouble outside the world of transmission lines. Pick a number in the 30s and tune there. Oh and onelivinglarge has the same wattage as this guy. 2 cubes on that sub will actually make it quieter while allowing the weak suspension to let the cone flop around like a fish out of water, smacking motor along the way.

    For such a small sub (strength and cone area) this is too big. I'm not at home right now so I can't get you a design, but you should shoot for 1.5 cubes after displacement, and keep the port relatively small too. Say 18 to 20 square inches of port total. Ask onelivinglarge how having too much box for his fi x 15 effected him.

    Why would you think you could take 140 amps through 4 gauge, then miraculosly get 200 amps after splitting it?

    my 6th order doesn't seem to care where the mic is, legal or not. scores pretty flat from about 20 hz up to around 45 hz before it starts to drop off some. oh and 140 at 10 hz ain't bad either.

    this 5 cubes for this sorta 18 is about the sweet spot. lower end 18's i'd do less, heavier suspensions i'd do more.

    45's aren't bracing.. haha joo dumb are you talking to me or the other guy If he was talking to the other guy, he would of just quoted him, and not you. quote bomb! and yes 45's do brace as it makes the box less suceptable to twisting forces.

    google sketchup uses .skp files so you will need a file server not a picture server. check out zshare and megaupload. you can also export as 2d to take a sort of screenshot of what you're looking at as a .jpeg and upload that to a site like imageshack or photobucket.

    that's not a big box and theres really not a whole lot of surface area there, bracing will not be necessary unless you're running like 4kwrms to that.
