I guess I should have specified more...that looks like a pretty baller set-up for movies and such but I'm looking more for music for a 200+ person party, so 4 channels would actually be fine....this is mainly for music for my fraternity, so big and loud is best...thanks though.

Hey guys, I need some ideas on a home theater system with 5.1 speakers for 1000 bucks total, including reciever. It's for my fraternity, so I'm willing to sacrifice quality a little for loudness and good bass...any help would be appreciated!

Giving the government more control isn't the answer, then they will simply choose which vice they want us to rely on. It's all a control game, and the government and companies are fighting for control. There will always be someone in power. Some places have an easy to see emperor or monarch, others, such as in capitalistic societies, are not so obvious. It is our job to enjoy our lives as much as possible and stand up for our natural rights as much as possible.

I don't know about that stuff, but I have seen more than one serious sq builds use a form of copper tubing instead of actual wire...not sure if it was hollow or not, but not going to rip the kid to shreds over it. Although I still do think that is more than likely your problem.
