  2. Steve where do you get these threaded inserts from? Or even the actual name and I can locate them myself?
  3. I had the 1/8" plexi leftover from something else, tint cost me $17 for the roll at O'Reilly. Switch was $4 at Radio Shack. Asthetically it wouldnt be my first pick but it was the smallest push on/off I could find locally. So it cost me the price of the unit, sacrificing of a perfectly good mirror, $21 in parts (plus maybe $10 worth of plexi...?) and an hour of work. It'll be weird to have the mirror up again, it hasn't been there in at least 3 years... what style mirror is that? what car is it from? im waiting for the green to come out then maybe ill rehang my mirror, they always seem to break I had the 1/8" plexi leftover from something else, tint cost me $17 for the roll at O'Reilly. 4. thanks Cody. I sent him,a message.
  5. pm coming
  6. Well I would say DONT use the fatmat at all. Just the spectrum........I was just lazy and didnt want to peel it off
  7. Damn Jon, why couldnt you have posted this a few years ago........ When I started I have the Fatmat on my front doors. I found myself being lazy and didnt want to peal that crap off. It just wasnt doing enough. SO I got a gallon on spectrum and a sprayer and went to town over the fatmat....Needless to say I got carried away and used a half gallon per door. Neither are coming off now. I would suggest a simple layer of damplifier first and spectrum over top. Or just the spectrum really
  8. Stuff is great. Several uses........I found it to also be useful as a box coating as well.
  9. From 14.4v? Damn mine will be pretty bad then lol. So should I do the 3 d975s and a d3400 in back? Or add a d3100 to the back? No doubt in my mind that a d1200 will fit in stock location Man I would say just keep adding the 975s as you can. Stop once your happy with the voltage
  10. realistically you might be fine, for a burp, but daily abuse its not gonna work. You will most likely kill your reserve in about 20 mins and then the alt will struggle to recharge the batts. Theres nothing wrong with the d975s, but I would tell you run no less then 5 or 6. And if you used if you used 3100s I would tell you to use 2 in the rear.
