My car will sometimes drop down into the mid 12s until I turn on my lights or put my system up near full tilt then the alt kicks on after about 5-10 secs and im back up to the mid 14s, but if my system is not on there is not much needed for the alt to charge since there is almost no electrical devises in there.

The depth would be the same so if it require 11" in depth for X tuning frequency it would be the same for both ports. You take the cubes of the box and multiply by 12-16 depending on your application ie power, spl, daily, ect. If you have two ports then take the total port size and divide it into 2. example if your box required a total of 200 sq in then make each port 100 sq in. cool?

So I am only running my lvl 5s during comps so my down grade build consists of: 2 aq sd2.5 15s 1 aq 1200 stock battery 220 amp alt. 3 runs of 1/0 wire. of course big three upgrade. box is 9 cubes tuned to 36 hz 2 8inch ports. Well I decided Its between 2 dc lvl 3 15s on an aq2200 or 3 kicker l7 10s on aq2200. I know that is a big difference, but Im just debating now on how much space I wanna fill in the rex.

Guess i might just downgrade to just 1 aq3500
