  1. Twin, black anodized, SMD-labeled bottles...one on each side, with electric valves.
  2. Old old repost. I believe Steve himself mentioned this video a while back. Still looks like an angry couple of subs though...
  3. Magnet looks quite shifted or something- either way, many old woofers I've seen have square magnets. Most recently were the dash speakers I pulled out of a '71 Chevelle.
  4. I made a post somewhere earlier about how I didn't like how rolled fenders came out. I can safely say that seeing these pictures and seeing the video has changed my mind on that. These look just as smooth and consistent as factory- plus that 285 series does a damn fine job filling in the resulting gap. Good stuff.
  5. Try the following: typing "do a barrell roll" into the Google search bar. Also, try going here: Google Gravity You can complete searches there and everything, and the first three results come crashing down. (you can also move the individual items around) I'm a little addicted.
  6. I have owned Sharp Aquos and Sony Bravia TVs, and can highly recommend either brand. LCDs are great screens, and won't burn in under almost any circumstance, while plasmas have insane contrast and reproduce black very well. As mentioned earlier though, they do have the potential to burn in. Only other thing is, many LCDs are LED-backlit, meaning their backlights are very energy-efficient and will last a hell of a lot longer than traditional cold cathodes. As far as *I* know, LED-LCD screens have plasmas very well beat in life expectancy. On a side note, I think the 120/240Hz displays are a bunch of horseshit. 60Hz have served me well...
  7. That would be awesome to participate in, minus the entry fee. I always thought it was literally a race, but a little reading told me it's just a big-ass group road trip of millionaires/billionaires in their exotics.
  8. I have a Flowmaster 40 on my Cherokee- I like it a lot, sounds burbly at idle too. The 44 would be a little tamer I'd think.
  9. So they basically cut off the roof and doors of a $350k Maybach and do doughnuts with it. I realize they're auctioning the car for charity, but I don't see any way they'll get even close to the MSRP back.
  10. Same here. Several months ago, I was seriously looking into the Clarus for the Jeep, but they seemed like more than I needed. Now that the Unity series exists, I'm right back into looking at HAT.
  11. 2012. My father has paid closer attention than I thought to the things I've done on my Jeep, and may be getting a little daring with plans for his own setup.
  12. I'll try there, but the most exciting thing any of those guys have done in audio is probably something like figuring out how to use the iPod input jack.
  13. Looks interesting- their logo reminds me very much of Ascendant.
  14. Yes- they say they haven't researched it. The car's been around more than a couple years now...so it's a bit annoying
  15. Does anyone on here have experience with the HAT Unity series components? I know they're new- but they're exactly what I've been looking for. A series between the Imagine and Clarus lines. On a side note: If anyone can help me find out the size of the front door mids on an Audi Q5, I'd appreciate it.
  16. What the hell motor is in that last Civic? Honda V6?
  17. Thanks for the birthday wishes! My school is giving me the present of exams this week.
  18. Thanks man! The basket is from a TC Sounds 12, but it looks similar to the T3. DC uses a 7" carbon dustcap if I'm not mistaken, but Ken (Forevrbumpn) made this one.
  19. No love for a one-of-a-kind woofa?
  20. I asked Ken to build it to handle 1000, but his testing seems to suggest it'll have no issue with more. How much more is a good question, but the sub channel of my amp does 933 at 1Ω regardless.
  21. Thank you sir. I CANNOT wait to build the t-line for this thing and crank it. Next on the list of purchases is a DD-1...
  22. So, after a while of this thing sitting at my house, my parents brought it down to school for me this weekend during their visit for my birthday. (19 today FTW) Check it out...not bad at all for a 12. Specs: TC Sounds 4-spoke basket RF Power HX2 motor w/custom machined cooling Dual 2Ω flatwound CCA coil 7" REAL carbon fiber flat dustcap Ignore the masking tape...it'll need some Goo Gone but no big deal. Dat ass
  23. For me, the coolness of this car is right up there with the Veyron. Just f***ing sick. EDIT: In fact, I'd probably take one of these over the Veyron...the money savings goes without saying, but I also like screamers
  24. Yellow. The black does zero justice to the shape of that car.
