  1. My battery in my 80GB ipod classic is pretty much dead and won't charge anymore so I need to get it replaced. I need help with what Apple part# it is since I can't open it right now. I have some Best Buy gift cards that I need to use so I'm trying to get the Apple part# so I can find the equivalent battery and purchase it from Best Buy without spending any money out of pocket. Can anyone help me?
  2. Yeah it was Dom but he sold it. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...1&hl=alpine
  3. Definitely worth $10 when it sales for around $80. If it doesn't work out for you, you can turn around and sale it for more and make a little money off of it.
  4. Definitely look into a debt consolidation agency before you even consider declaring bankruptcy. Look for a Primerica agent in your area. I work tech support for a dsl company and got my life insurance license on the side. Selling life insurance wasn't for me but I still have my license. Primerica is not really a debt consolidation agency but they are more like a one stop shop. They do home loans, personal loans, life insurance, investments, college savings, etc. You can go to an agent and they'll want to sell you life insurance. They'll also sit down with you and go over all your financial stuff and get you on a payment plan. They can tell you which debt to pay off first based on the amount you owe and the interest rate. If that is not an option, they sometimes will give you a personal loan to pay off all your debt and you can pay them a monthly payment at a lower interest rate. Obviously everyone's situation is different but this is what I've seen sitting on a few meetings with my mentor. http://www.primerica.com/public/
  5. Don't get a 2 channel amp for the subs, get a mono amp. You'll need to add a 2nd battery and upgrading the electrical once you get around 1,000 watts give or take.
  6. You will notice the sub will hit a little harder after it's broke in. One day you'll be playing it and notice it's a little louder.
  7. He means wire it like this. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woof...mp;woofer_imp=3
  8. I remember the 1989 bay area earthquake when the world series was about to start. I was all the way in Sacramento and felt it a little.
  9. Yeah, that makes sense. Then they go to arin and do a whois on the ip address and find the isp. *wonders how Boon knows so much about bit torrent*
  10. Ok. You're still looking at a 90 day warranty vs. 1 year. And it doesn't look like that site offers free shipping whereas Crutchfield does. Not at least that I could find anyways.
  11. That is refurbished and only comes with a 90 day warranty. For $5 more I'd rather have brand new with a full 1 year warranty.

  13. I work for an ISP and them movie companies don't play around when it comes to illegally downloading movies. We get contacted by Warner Brothers all the time about our customers downloading movies. They notify our legal department with the offending ip address and then we contact our customer with an email warning them to stop or we'll shut their line down. We give them a few days to a week after the first warning and then if we get more complaints then we cut their line. How the movie companies find out, I don't know. They obviously have the ip address already and they know that it's being download via a bit torrent software and know what port numbers the traffic is passing across.
  14. Crutchfield has them for $49.99 and offer free ground shipping. Plus they are an authorized Kicker dealer. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2067C124/Kick...124.html?tp=111 Or you can spend $50 more and get 2 CVR's for $150. They are buy one get one free right now. I bought my CVR's on this deal back in September. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2067C12VR4/Ki...124.html?tp=111
  15. Now this is assuming you can find one. Find a shop near a mod or user here that you trust. Paypal or send them the money and have them buy it for you and then ship it to you. You just have to find a ship that has it first.
  16. There are 2 shops local to me and neither of them had it. I'd just start calling authorized shops outside of your area and even out of state. The question is whether or not they are willing to ship it you if you can find it.
  17. How about calling shops outside of your area and see if maybe a shop that has one will take your CC and mail it to you?
  18. Have you tried calling actual shops to see if they have any rather than just looking online?
