    If you be smart about everything, the XLs will take 4k....i believe at one time, rusty even did testing in the shop with an XL on 4k...if i remember right...but the final decision is up to you... moose

    Well i wouldnt state going from a 5 to a XL a bad downgrade...ive actully seen tons of people love the switch from 5 to XL...and dont let the power rating fool you....unless u are planning on only burping....for daily music...ive seen the XLs take plenty of abuse! My buddy, Dee, has two 18'' XLs on an Atomic 7k and they love it!! If you can get on to some XLs quicker than you say you can get a 5, then make the change, see what happens... but i guarantee you you will not be disappointed! moose
