One thing i'd rule out is check the connection between the face plate and deck its self, ive had previous decks before where the connection wasnt great between the two and would do the exact same thing, pop off the detachable face and take a look, couldnt hurt..............04ex18

hey bro, i got an 04 explorer limited and i heard a magnaflow on one the other day and it is the best sounding exhaust for out explorers by far, souns sooooooo badass, and on ebay, type in ford explorer exhaust and click on yr year off to the side and this company sells them in a box and they dont tell u the brand name cause the companys dont want u knoing which one they are selling, and its a magnaflow, cause i called them cause i am ordering one soon, its like around the 340 mark, instead of like 450, just figured id give u my advice 04ex18
