  1. Get us some dimensions to play with. And also a budget! That's make everything a lot easier, and you'll also have better luck in getting some suggestions.
  2. Probably not going to be as flexible as you are expecting, but unless you are making major twists and turns, you should be fine. I just ordered 45 feet of 2/0 for two runs from my front to back. Hard to get the size of wire for a better price. But, flexible, not so much. :/
  3. It's welding cable. That's why it's on the cheap. What are you using it for?
  4. https://weldingsupply.securesites.com/cgi-bin/einstein.pl?Next::1:UNDEF::::PA2 2.00 a foot for 1 gauge. 2.50 a foot for 1/0.
  5. Video section big guy. And not bad for some cheap-o subs!
  6. That's funny shit right there!
  7. Brandon15zzz, I will paypal you $65.00 right now for that battery. Lol, congrats though on the friggin' steal, and thumbs up Captainz for being such a great guy.
  8. Never had a video taken completely down, but I have had a few of them muted, and it just pisses me off. I followed the little demo thingy they show here and all of my audio is back up.
  9. Option C, single sub setups ftw. You need to be able to hear your music too. Sorry to hear about the theft though... A lot of people out there are idiots. As you said earlier though regarding the amps, if you could get two new at that price, by all means do it. Just lock your shit up better this time! Good luck!
  10. In theory, yes. Surf around the forums here a bit, a lot of your questions (off the dome, help me outers) can be answered without having to wait for a response from some other members. Plus, if it has already been typed a million times, not a lot of people want to type all of it up again. My vote goes for getting the Land Rover asap and feeding us some new dimensions.
  11. Looking at your Torres sheet, it seems you'll be living up to your name! Another one tuned in here!
  12. Correct. Go with the Kickers Kranny linked you to, you're gonna have a hard time finding a better deal for what you already have. You'll be looking at a simple 2.5ft^3 sealed box. Check out some box builds and how-to's and try your hand at it.
  13. But please don't base your decision on the simplicity of the wiring. lol
  14. Actually.... Reading your signature, are you running a jbl AND a pioneer sub? Read up the site a bit. In the meantime save up some more cash. Mow some lawns or something. Once you have a better understanding as to what is going on, you'll be able to probably make a better purchase. As stated before, there is PLENTY to learn here. Just take some time and learn.
  15. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360242134320&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_3162wt_965 Or spend $30.00 more and get a P3. Wire it up to 4-ohms and call it a day. I agree with Kranny though on the box part. You have more than enough information here on this site to help you out. Especially with you preaching about budget, it'll be more cost effective as well to build your own.
  16. I wouldn't think your power wire being stripped would cause such a voltage drop. You have a smaller current flow with the smaller strand count theoretically, therefore I feel that it would be safe to assume that would not be your problem. Basically, your severe voltage drop should not be caused by a damaged wire. Could be wrong but... What equipment are you running? What's your electrical? And no, 8 volts is not good. lol
  17. Are you talking about running a car subwoofer in your house/dorm/etc? Just hook the amplifier up to a car battery and have it on a trickle-charger and you should be fine. What amplifier are you planning to use?
  18. Really don't see how you can hate Eminem. But... Not bad man, not too bad.
  19. If you go with the level 5, this would be your best bet. Then again it has been proven that the level 4xl gets louder off of anything under about 3000 I believe. Off of stock electrical and a kinetik 1800, you will not be able to maintain a 14.4v. If you want to stay budget, my vote goes to the 15" level 4xl in a "GOOD" enclosure off of either the BXi1610d, the AP1500, or even the BXi2010d if you know what you are doing.
  20. Yeah the coils still read. I just built a new box for it and was switching when i noticed it. I taped it up pretty good, and it still plays the same as it did on day one. It wasn't necessarily the most polite break in i suppose, but i always slowed down when the dustcap was getting warm. Thank goodness you hooked me up with the extra tinsels! I'm just going to go easy on it after tuning until the competition and see what happens there. The stitching to the spider came off so they must have been slapping. The other side is still secured just fine.
  21. Okay I see. Well I feel a little better now knowing that this has happened to a few other people and not just me. Thanks for the responses everyone!
