my old setup did 149.2@36hz legal, 150.0@37hz door open off an audiopipe 3500, clamped less than 2k. just got to get a good design. those trucks usually meter well with port on passenger side.

been meaning to post this build for a while 2 SMD 18's going in a 2008 Escalade. He's going to have 2 SAZ-3500's running these. box specs- 13.25@31hz

Well I had a whole lot more pics of the build, but my camera decided it needed to reformat the memory card. So all I have are pics of the way it sits atm. Anyways, this box is getting 4 Diamond D6 15's in 17.2 cu ft net. Finally picked up a 1.5" radius roundover bit. It was fun using this for the first time, killed my router motor after I finished the ports:teary:

The layers are usually done as a precaution for playing very loud and very low. With a high tuned spl build you could get away with thinner walls without having to worry as much about stuff breaking. But the newer trend is to reach very high pressure levels at very low frequencies which is extremely destructive.

I'd go with 3 sa-8's
