Mine did the same thing i got a new alt and did the big three plus threw in a new batt and i havent seen it do it since.

Alright, A local audio shop is looking to sell their Astro Van with the system still in it. Asking $7000.00 w/2 18" solo x's, w/box. There are MB Quart in doors and in dash. 4 ch. amp still there, but sub amps were all sold. W/O stereo,amp,subs,speakers would take $5500.00. Has UNGO remote start and LCD beeper alarm combo also. Yes it has an adjustment, you check what the volts are on what ur hooking it up then adjust the itty bitty screw to that voltage. A screwdriver used for glasses would work perfect for this.

One thing i dont understand is why a fuse is needed, if a fuse was needed then on the paper that came with my H.O alt dont u think it would of said "The positive cable running from the alt to the positive on the battery must be fused" and going over my paper again i see nothing of the sorts. im pretty sure if there was a chance of something bad happening it would say that this is a "must do". EDIT: and refering to the big 3 i was stating doing it to help with the flow of electricity, yes the alts only gonna be able to push out so much but at least its gonna be able to do it with out some little puny stock wire getting hot when hes pulling lots of current.

I got a 3 sets of RF RIOT competition series RCA's and i love them, sometimes u can get bad RCA's when they are BNIB that happened to me with new regular RF RCA's hard core static was coming threw then they just stoped working. I got those RIOT's for a steal the time after i got them at my local CA store i went back up to get some ring terminals and he told me i basically ripped him off,i said yea kinda and i was laughing secretly to myself. He said he had to sell them cause they'd been on the shelf for a long time. He wanted way to much before he marked them down and thats when i jumped on them. These are the ones im talking about.

I was thinking if u put one amp on slave and they were hooked up i think if u had the knob in the master amp it would control both amps.

Why a new starter?, OP- BIG 3 in 0ga, 0ga ran from front to back and atleast a deep cycle up front if u got the money throw one in back. Alot of people run XS i dont unfortunatly i got a YT optima up front. If he ever decides to upgrade beyond what hes looking at then a new alt would be a must have.

What Vehicle is this gonna go on?

Im not 100% sure but if u have say 2 D2 subs and u wire both to 1ohm for each amp if they can handle it and hook 1 amp apeice to each sub and link them together it would still be a 1ohm load. some one correct me if i'm wrong cause ive kinda wondered this as well. but first u gotta make sure the amps are even linkable.

U need to put 0ga from the front batt to the back batt IMO. yes ur gonna have some drop, how much i dont really know but it might not be much. I say run 0ga from front to back and when u get time 0ga BIG 3. The thing really is and someone might be able to answer it, are you gonna have enough elctric flow to keep that back batt happy without hurting it.
