  1. Do not know at this time. Depends on how long the R&D goes.
  2. It will work with dual alts and with stock alts or HO alts. GM only at this time, and doesn't work with the two pin alt plugs.
  3. We actually just got some new prototypes in that we are testing out. Not selling them, but getting closer and better.

  6. I thought it was 14.9 witch is why I said that, but there's the answer from the man him self 14.9v at competitions would be ok, but not for daily. Again this is the recommendations from us. Many charge much higher on a regular basis with no problems, but we can not recommend doing that.
  7. 14.4V is the max voltage recommended by us. I will leave it at that.............

  11. Charge them up. Charge them up. and then Charge them up. As soon as possible. Sitting for 8 months if they haven't been charged I can almost promise you they are sitting below 12.6V. Honestly it depends on how you have the system set up and how you are going to be using it. For a daily driver application you may be able to run off of the batteries you currently have. If you are going to be competing or doing a lot of demos (bass boosted and slowed), then you will probably want to add a couple more 3400s. Might as well try it out first though before you buy more batteries. Oh and charge the batteries up. If you need a good charger I have a couple 1005 chargers I can make you a good deal on.

  13. Nice title for this thread. Not sure where you got a D3100 with a M10 thread. We have never made D3100 with a M10. Back in 06 we made some with M8 thread, but never M10. The 580 come with M6, because that is what every D3100 since 06 uses. If you really meant M8, then you can give us a call and we have the posts that work with it.

  15. Group 24F battery, so the D2400 will if under the hood in the stock location, but the terminals will be reversed. If you are going to do the Big 3 upgrade you can just extend your cables and it should work fine for you.
  16. The chemistry make up of the batteries are different, so you could run into problems down the road. In most cases you will be fine mixing them.
  17. You can probably fit a D3400 under the hood. Most are able to with little to no modification at all. If you are going to be running 2700watts through it, then you will probably want to add a smaller battery to the back to help give you some capacity to pull from.
  18. D3400 will fit under the hood in the stock location. After that I would recommend 2 D3100 in the back. You may be able to get by with 1 D3100 in the back, but you would see more performance from 2 in the back.

  20. I would recommend running 4 D3100 in one bank, but I would suggest trying this in steps. I would suggest getting 2 D3100 to start with and see how they perform under your use. 2 probably will not be enough, but you never know. Then if 2 doesn't keep you in the voltage range you want to be in I would suggest getting a third D3100 and see how that works for you. This way if you find that 2 or 3 does fine for you, then you dont have to spend more money on batteries.
  21. Surely if they really wanted to know they could just test the batteries them selves? What exactly could they gain from knowing the internal resistance of your batteries? not bitching just genuinely interested. True they could, but it isn't that simple. They could find ways to redesign their batteries which would help them catch up.

  23. They would work fine. 1500 watts per battery for competition.
  24. How many amps are you running and what amps are they? What vehicle is it going into? Guessing you want to stay with 12v? Are you going to be playing with the vehicle off a lot or mostly while it is running?
