  1. SEMA 2011 was great!!! We had a great show and a great week. Thanks for everyone that came by the booth and to the party.
  2. Let all your guys know if they need a charger. Anyone that needs a charger for Spring Break now is the time!!
  3. If you have been looking for a 1005 or 1004 charger, then now is the time. While we were gone to SEMA the guys in the shop were able to get a lot of the scratch and dent chargers cleaned and boxed up ready to go. Just shoot me an email nathan@xspowerbatteries with the subject as B-Stock Charger and I will get you some prices. I have a few of these in each model, but they will go fast because they always do. They work fine, but may have a scratch or small dent in the case. You can of course always give me a call at 888.497.7693 x1211, but I will be in and out of the office.
  4. Blazer uses a D3400 under the hood and ibar kit if you are still using side posts. You can pick whatever battery that fits for the back. The wattage guide on the first page of this will help you out.
  5. The starter will run off of the 16V battery, so it doesn't run through the step down.
  6. Yes, FedEx has done a much better job so far. We couldn't handle eating the cost of the damaged batteries from UPS.
  7. The HF1215 is just hard to beat really. Yes you can find chargers that are cheaper, but they are......well cheaper!
  8. Yeah the D5100R would work fine for you.
  9. AudioSavings has some incredible prices and great shipping!! The D3100 should work well for you. If you have a AGM charger it will only extend the life and performance of the battery. If you dont have one check out the HF1215 and it is also available through Audio Savings.
  10. Instantaneous power means the most and you will not find a battery with more instantaneous power the the D series.
  11. No prob Trippi!! It was our pleasure and it was damn fun stealing the night at the party!!
  12. ^^^^ nice!!! I would watch that radiator hose coming right across the D3100 though. I would recommend getting some heat shield from a auto parts store and adding it around that part of the battery. That will keep more of the heat away from the battery and help prevent swelling due to excessive heat.
  13. The H3 actually uses a Group 86 battery. The Group 35 battery you have in there now would be like the D5100R. Most upgrade to the larger Group 34 batteries, which would be the same as the D3400. So, if it were me I would see if the D3400 will fit in there and if it does that is what I would get.
  14. If you are at the show make sure and come by the booth to register for a free Richard Petty Racing Experience at the track of your choice.
  15. With that specific model it would be better to measure and see what would fit best. That is not a common size battery and we do not have a direct replacement. I know some have put the D3400, D2400, and D2700 in there, but you would want to check and make sure you have the room.
  16. We will be out of the office October 28th through November 7th. Email will be the best way to get in contact with me during this time, because I will not be able to check my voice mails until I get back. If you are going to be at SEMA make sure and stop by the booths 23512 & 11209. If are not going to make it to SEMA, but want to see the awesome builds and new products from around the show make sure and check out our FaceBook pages for updates! FaceBook Page
  17. Yes, our batteries work fine in the cold temps. Just like any battery though the colder the temps the harder it is on the battery.
  18. LOL nothing like getting the pucker factor from shorting out a D3100. Should be fine though. When I first started at XS I had a battery in the box and the top was open. I was going to take the battery and a hold down back to the office and without thinking about it just dropped the hold down on top of the battery......................... well the hold down was basically cut in half and there was a firework show like you hadn't seen before. All of this happened inside my truck in the back seat. I was like nobody seen that all is good...........lol You can actually weld with the little D375s. There is a company that uses those small batteries in their portable welding kits. Pretty cool actually.
  19. Just wanted to pop in and say I am sorry for the delays in responses on the forum. This is the busiest part of the year for us with all the shows, so it doesn't leave a lot of time to pop in here and check everything out as much as I would like to. If you have a question that needs to be answered quickly it is better to shoot me ([email protected]) or the tech guys ([email protected]) an email. SEMA is coming up next week, so make sure and check out our facebook pages (XS Power) (XS Power). Like our Fan Page, because they will not allow us any more friends on our other page.
  20. Correct again! You can have one of every size in a bank and be fine............ dang that would be a sweet looking install.
  21. That is high voltage for any battery and especially a sealed batter for daily use. If you charge the battery that high you will soon get the great smell of sulfer and a big balloon that use to be your battery.
  22. Correct guys!!! On some alternators you may see the 15v range when they are cold, but it should drop down to the 14V range very quickly.
