If you replaced your stock ground, make sure it didn't have a plastic piece that was around the ground cable. Some vehicles have sensors in place around the cables and if that sensor is not there, then it is basically breaking a protection circuit built into the vehicles stock electrical system. This can mess up your electrical because the vehicle isn't able to get a full electrical reading.
Also check and see what the voltage is coming off of the alternator under the hood and at the battery in the back.
