Get an intake and exhaust to start with. Just keep a realistic mind that you are not going to get a ton of power out of that engine without putting some $$$$ into it. After you get the intake and exhaust you can either get a custom tune or just go with a Superchips Tuner or maybe a HyperTech Tuner. They are not that expensive, but can give you pretty good gains for the money.

LOL is it true................. no we just advertise numbers and wait for someone to sue us for false advertisement...........LOL jk jk We do not publish any numbers for our products that we do not have tested proof to back them up. Some companies will give fluctuated numbers on their batteries and the customers end up being dissatisfied. We are the opposite of that. Our advertised numbers are actually a little lower than what the battery produces.

If you are trying to save money then I would suggest switching the red top out for a S3400 up front. Use it and see how it performs for you. The 3400 will provide you with about 2500watts as a starting battery and comes with a 3yr replacement warranty.

If you compare battery to battery an AutoZone, Advance, or any other recycled flooded battery can not compare to our batteries as far as performance goes. It has been tested over and over again, and has been proven over and over again. Do our batteries cost more? Yes Are they for everyone? No If a cheaper flooded battery works for you, then by all means use it and enjoy. If it works and meets your expectations then why pay more $$$ for another battery, but if you want the top performance out of your system then get an XS Power Battery. There is a reason the top competitors are using XS Power Batteries, and thats because they are competition proven. They cost more because of the technology behind them and the 99.9999% pure lead that goes into them. Could we make cheap box store batteries by using old designs and cheap recycled lead? Yes Will we ever do that? NO, thats what other companies are doing. Here is how I look at it. If you have a new sport bike or sports car are you going to put the 87 octane fuel in it to save some cash in the short run and get less than peak performance, or are you going put the high test in it and be able to enjoy the full performance you paid for and expect?

The OEM battery is a Group 78, so the S3400 would fit. If you have the room I would put the biggest one you can fit in there though.

No problem man I didn't take it like that at all. I know that anyone that has actually compared our batteries to any of our competitors batteries side by side (apples to apples) will see the HUGE difference in power. XS Power provides audio competitors with the best power sources available to win competitions, and some other companies pick up bar tabs. Its really up to the consumer to decide which one they want to go with. Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I would check with Sound Solutions Audio store. They have a group buy still going until the 16th of this month I think on XS Power Batteries.

Comparing them size for size we will blow kinetic out of the water, but I do not know of a Group65 battery that kinetic makes. Like I have said before if someone wants to send in any battery to test up against ours I will throw them on the dyno and post all the results and even pay for the shipping back to you. The group size is based on the dimensions and post location of the battery. Each Group has a set standard that has to be met to be considered that Group battery. The Group 65 battery is larger than the Group 34 battery, so that means more lead can go in the Group 65 batteries which will produce more power.

Depending on how much room you have to play with it looks like the D6500 would work for you, and would give you about 3000watts as a starting battery. All of our dimensions are listed on the site www.4xspower.com

I would suggest contacting Iraggi about their prices. Yes, XS Power does make HO alternators.

Depends on what you consider a regular charger really. The old battery chargers (flooded batteries) charge at to high of a voltage, so they can not be used with our batteries. Most of the battery chargers sold today are actually AGM chargers and will work with our batteries. The key is that it doesn't charge over 14.9 volts and charges at a high enough amperage to fully charge the battery. Optimal amperage would be 15amps. Most of the battery tenders charge at only a 2amp or 5 amp rate, which would take a month to actually get a charge on the battery and would probably never fully charge the battery. On a side note I have a few referb chargers that are on special price for the 1004 (16V only) and 1005 (12 and 16V). Send me an email if you are interested on purchasing one of these chargers.

You can do that with any of the of the Ibar kits.

You can use any ibar you want with the 3400, just depends on your needs.

Maybe the person at Summit you spoke with was misinformed. That battery comes with a 3 year warranty and there is no problem running the battery with a 12v alternator. If you are having problems please feel free to contact us direct and we will get you taken care of. What vehicle are you using the D680 on? I am guessing you are using it under the hood, since it is a starting battery. I would recommend the S version for under the hood use, because they come with the protective metal case that helps with battery swelling. The 680 should really only be used as a starting battery for 4cyl and 6cyl vehicles that do not have any additional electrical loads on them. Just give us a call and we will get you take care of.

To charge our batteries you need to look for a AGM battery charger, and you really need about 15amps of charging amperage. The charger should never charge above 14.9V, and most AGM chargers will stay below the 14.9 mark. Most of the trickle chargers are not big enough to keep the batteries fully charged because they charge at low of an amperage. With your situation is does sound like you are having some alternator issues. It sounds like you are not getting a charge at idle from the alternator, and if the battery isn't fully charged that would explain your voltage being so low.

Correct. AGM settings if you have the 12/16 charger then use the AGM Low setting.
