I ran a 9k to a pair for a season. With my experience I'm trying to get away from overpowering that much to save some cost on the eventual re-cones.

To me it gives the end user a glimpse at what is possible with DC amps. Granted every install is different even for the same car. What this thread does is set goals for some of us. I doubt I will make it to the top of the list using one 9k and the puny electrical system in the crx but I will have some respect by doing one of the highest numbers on music at or below 40. 154 or bust!

Truth be told I have a mayhem and have posted the same score with a single mayhem 15 on my amp. The only pairs that tend to be Ghey are the ones Julio and Eric own.

It would be nice if you offered a better product at the same price! I have used it on 4-5 different installs as stated before results are all within the prep and application. I give the surface an alcohol wash prioIr to applying and use a good roller and bam no issues. I have since moved on to stinger expert which is only a few dollars more and the foil is thicker than SS. Is SS a good product yes! But it's always a money issue with the people who are purchasing the product and it's to hard to resale and make any money at all.

As little as 1" of enclosure movement changes everything in my car! Yes swapping amps can affect everything as stated before each amp has its preferred freq to make power and it is highly doubtful you will get the amps setting the same for both crossover points and gain settings.

3.5 k amp without a doubt. Pick your poison but I am extremely happy with my DC amp.
