My dad owns an auto glass company, I think they use a product from loctite. Its in a yellow bottle about the size of a small elmers glue bottle. I have never seen it come off if you let it cure right.

I use Sata and Iwata guns and can say they are top of the line. The LPH-400 I have is a great gun and the trusty old Satajet "B" does everything great.

What style of wire are you all using for power/grounds from knu? Flex or the other stuff with aluminum?

I would suggest practicing on an old kick panel from a junk yard first. You can get everything you need to do it at a local auto parts store. Dont use the thick fiberglass mat it is way to hard to work with. Get the thin fiberglass cloth that is flexible. I have seen people use a thick fleece type material instead of fiberglass as well. Make a frame, cover it with the mat, tack it in place and resin the crap out of it. Follow up with bondo and primer then paint it. Sounds easier than it really is.
