I'm just asking if you clamped the power out of your amp? What is your voltage at at full tilt also? There's so many factors before the sub can see a true 2k RMS. Where did I say AQ doesn't put out rated. Take it easy bro.

OP: If you have to ask these questions. I suggest you're not even ready for a true 5500 watt system.

I don't get why everyone on this forum thinks that DC subs magically take all this power that they can't. Most of you probably don't even see the power you "think" the sub is seeing.

Even at 2 Ohms that thing still puts out some decent power. I would think your lack of electrical has something to do with it. Edit: Says 1600 at 2 ohms. Max I would ever run on any stock electrical is 1k.
