  1. Interchangable baffle can be done.... I've done it several times. Instead of using wood glue when mounting the baffle, i've used silicone glue. You just need to be sure that the blue are fully dry before using the box. I used screws to bolt down the baffle. In fact, I just did one this weekend for one 15" Fosgate hx2. 3.6 cube tune to 35hz (3 - 4" areo's). My idea was to make it so I can use two 10's if needed. I don't have any experience with the BTL but 5 + cubes seems a bit big for the 15" imo. I wouldn't personally put a 15" in a box bigger than 4.5cube unless it is what recommended. For two 12's it's alright. If you want to continue going interchangable baffle, I suggest to net around 4.5 cube. I think 4.5 is still good for two 12's.
  2. cool... pm me your number if this is still available this weekend (both 7ft & 14ft $40?). I'll make a trip up there for'm Sat. Gotta stop by Ken's house for a speaker built. let me know....
  3. cool, imma try 2.8@34hz... would 17 ft^2 per cube good for the power?
  4. where you locate?... i may need some 0/1.. i'm in sac too
  5. RAM, what box size do you recommend...
  6. plans for daily... but would like to have put out decent number. Lots of peeps say the sub plays below tuning with no problem.... I haven't really look into that.
  7. teg is hatch... and yeah i figure more power cuz i hook up the 3000 to one aq and it was laughing at that power... need to up the alt and batts first lol
  8. Just order my second HDC3 and like to start planning my box. I understand AQ recommend 2.5 - 3 cube tune around 36-37hz. Buy my goal is to have a daily box that can put up decent numbers (150 would be the ultimate goal). I don't mind building two boxes, one for daily and another for numbers. Amp: AP3000d (the plan is to run @1ohm for number and 4ohm daily) ** considering upgrading amp down the road or get another AP3000d** Batts: xs 5100r front + xs3100d back + 90amp stock alt 96 integra... peak frequency: 44-46hz Plan 1: 3.15 cube NET tune to 37hz (slot port @ 50 ft^2) port & subs back Plan 2: 3 cube NET tune to 39hz (w/ (3) 4" aero port) subs up & port back Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!
  9. love that new spider roll... nice work Jake!
  10. ^^X2... had mine in 5.4cube net. The only thing I hate about it is that there is no room for my amp. If you can stretch it near the 6 net, that'll be much better.
