  1. the first time you experience it, when you're used to 135's-140's, is disorienting. everything in you peripheral vision goes blurry, your nostrils vibrate, your chest shakes, and just the pressure feels like being pretty far underwater. that's how it was for me at least. cool videos kranny, I love watching peoples reactions to 150+.
  2. can't ever really tell over videos, but it looks like you've got a nice sounding set up there and a little bit of flex action going on lol. lookin good bro.
  3. I will definitely say your wall for sure influenced me to get off my butt and go through with it, along with drew's wall. My wall is hella ugly though, as for deadening I will get to it eventually but finishing my substage and restarting my front stage comes first. and for anyone thinking about commenting on my port flex, I already have it taken care of <3
  4. One of his subs already needs a recone LOL But the box is tuned in the low 20's and he does try to keep the low low notes at a minimum. ^^^ this thanks though Ray, I'll take your advice and use my subsonic, I really do try not to play those mega c&s songs just got stupid today.
  5. last I heard, the machine rusty uses to check things like this is broken.
  6. upload them to photobucket or tinypic and look for the link they provide you. just put that into your thread and bam.
  7. harder than the average joe.
  8. if your budget is 400 you can get a brand new AQ2200 for 389. I personally love the amp.
  9. <3 i fully expected to get banned, but oh well. mods have come and gone and no lock +1 post though!
  10. no, but i can give you the number of the asshole girl who gave him my phone number. yes this is a childish thing to do, but i don't like to be fucked with. and they started the childishness.

    Anyone

Uhm, that's not a good thing. Doesn't that mean that the tweeter us harsh? Like TeeJay said, it's personal preference, but yes I would describe it as harsh. Personally I don't like overpowering highs from my tweeters, but some people do. All in all it still sounded good.

    Anyone

I've heard one of their 6x9's in person, it was loud enough to hurt my ears by itself. here's a video.
  13. can I have sqsux if it's not taken? even though nothing came up when I searched members.
  14. you've almost got it, in a way you're right about dividing it in half. leave your amp completely out of it for now, just look at your subs. they have a set amount of resistance or impedance(ohms). lets say you have one dual 2 ohm sub, if you wire one positive terminal to the second, and the same for the negative terminals, you'll cut that dual two ohm impedance "in half" to 1 ohm, this is called parallel wiring. if you were to wire one of the positives to a negative, and then connect the positive and negatives that have no wires in them to you amp, you would have a 4 ohm impedance, this is called series. here's a website you can play with various woofer quantities and voice coil configs. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp? if you want the most power out of that amp, while keeping it stable(if it's 1-ohm stable) then you'll want to wire your three separate subs in series, and then together in parallel. that will give you an impedance of 1.34(assuming you have dual 2 ohm subs) (i was kinda late on this reply)
  15. What if I don't wanna do a wall? lol. I do agree with everthing else tho. Gotta get started on learning to glass. then do a tunnel
  16. one thing I can tell you about having the port at the top, when I'm driving I can constantly feel the port pulling my hair twords it. for looks I personally like port up top, I would go for up top or drivers side.
  17. the strapped amps split the resistance. so you wire to 2 ohms for each amp to see 1ohm. but you cant strap more than 2 amps together. I remembered some thread a while ago talking about if more than two amps were strapped together, I really should just stop talking out of my ass I didn't mean to make it seem like he did in fact have the option to do it.
  18. as for strapping 6 amps, every time you strap an amp it does it's rated power at higher impedance, if that makes sense. I'm sure if I explain this wrong someone will be able to correct me, but for example I know the aq 2200 does 2200@ 1ohm, when you strap two of those together it becomes 4400@ 2ohms, 3 would be xxxx power @ 4ohms, and so on. in my personal opinion it would be much more beneficial to use less more powerful amps with an rca level knob, when you turn that knob down you wont be drawing the same amount of power as if it was turned all the way up, if that's what you're getting at with all of this.
  19. No personal experience but there are a couple complaints on the BBB BBB scroll down about 3/4 for the list.
  20. in my mind, to have all six still playing the amps would have to be strapped and that's a lot of amps to strap together, along with a lot of different impedance changes. I'm talking out of my ass though.
