Kinda of stuck and dont know what to do. So here's the scenario If I go with the 3 Phoenix Gold Qx158's I'd have to build a new box, i got one of these subs for free already I', currently in negotiations with someone on another forum that has the other 2 and i may not pay more than over $90 for the final 2. I'd be spending about $135 on all four shipped to my door. The T400's would run me about $190 for all of em but they are Dual 4 and would give me more wiring options over the T200's. What if I put my Ipods volume to halfway instead of turning it all the way up when im using the AUX jack?

Mines the opposite mine is louder off my ipad via aux. then cds are. I cant even drop my voltage under 13 with 2 saz 3500s and stock alt with my cd player (honestly) i sure as hell can with something thru the aux input tho Maybe the EQ is bass boosted on your ipad? idk just making a guess as to why the bass is louder. But after reading this thread, It makes me cringe even more at the thought of using my Aux jack on my deck. It should be ok at low levels though right?

Judging by the specs of it, i think its a PA sub, i dont know of many car subwoofers that run at 8ohms. i could be wrong. I could use it to learn how to build a fourth order with, which is what i want to do eventually, a big fourth order build.

and if i do decide i want it, i dont know if i should just swipe it or should i put a note on it or something saying that i want it, i pushed the cone in, i didnt think i felt any rubbing.

ok i have question, how do you figure out what size Fuse you need between your batteries?

Sounds good, but if i remember correctly, you'll want to fuse between your two batteries just in case something shorts out. Your vehicle wont go up in flames
