the BMW486 has a maxi 80 amp fuse and has a current draw of 72 amps and it will do 600+wrms @4ohms and 1200+wrms @2ohms but if you dont know what you are doing i wouldn't advise goin below 4 ohms mono

thats a good deal that amp has 3 - 25 amp fuses so it should have some balls but the 486 will shut it down

get the BMW486 it will push thoes subs with no prob

yes very true it is a flea market brand most people have never heard of em b4 but not all unknown brands are trash just cuz it doesn't have a major label on it dont mean shit i run BMW486's in my burb on flea market brand subs and i cant be touched around here hell that was the point of my install to make all the major brand groupies sick when a guy from the flea market shut them down LOL and so far thats exactaly what i have done anyway Split i've sold over 100 of thoes BMW484 amps and if you run it at a 4 ohm load mono you wont have any probs but if you are looking to run under 4 ohms mono i would try another amp bro

well i own a small shop and i get dealer prices so it didnt cost me that much under 3k total for equiptment , box and all it was the electrical upgrade that hit me up my dual alts , bracket , and belt waz 1k plus 800 on "cheap" batts and over 500 in 1/0 wire and fuses so total about 5k for everything

just take the e-brake wire and ground it to another part of the frame and sometimes the h/u will need sense the grounds at two seperate times so to do this you will need to install a toggle on the e-brake ground wire and turn it on after the h/u is powered up

IMO there is no way that 1 18 will be louder than three 12's on the same amount of power that Fi says it will take 2000wrms and we all know that they will take a lil more than that but so will the pioneers you can put 4k rms to the 3 pioneers allll day and have no probs just think about it 1 18=254.34 of cone area and 3 12's=339.12 of cone area so if you planned to use the same amp on both setups the 3 12's will be louder
